Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Tay Valley

The farmhouse was exactly what we needed for a quick "meet in the middle" get-together with our kids that are now living in Ottawa and Toronto. Denise was an excellent host and the farmhouse has absolutely everything, really. It is the most well equipped Airbnb that we have stayed at. Denise was very accommodating as we had left the birthday cake behind and had to return well after our checkout to retrieve it. It was just too bad we only had the one night!

A very nice and well equipped property. We had stayed in nearly all of the airbnbs in Sandy Hill. This is by far the best place including the location, parking, ease of access, lots of rooms and space in property, nice furniture, bathrooms and beds. All round a great place.

Jessica and Michael were wonderful hosts! Their property was quiet, extremely spacious, beautiful kitchen (but the restaurants around are so good we didn't cook). We would definitely stay with them again!.

This is our second time at this Airbnb. It’s in a wonderful location, so close to downtown. The house is clean and spacious, and you can’t beat having 2.5 bathrooms.

We loved the quiet, peaceful surroundings, the spaciousness of the cottage, and the beautiful views from every window. We love music and spent a couple of evenings just sipping wine and listening to music through the sound system routed through the ceilings. The kitchen was beyond well equipped! Further, Donna delivered extra pellets for the stove before we had to ask, and Erik generously mitigated the problem with the hot tub. Truly special hosts who care about their guests and their comfort.

Heather’s place is very nice, comfortable and cozy. It’s the type of place you can make yourself at home, check in instructions were very clear and easy to understand. Host is a great communicator and quick to respond, would highly recommend. We really enjoyed our stay and will keep in mind next time we come to Kingston 😊

The girls had a wonderful stay at the North Sky Retreat. Julie was very helpful and her house was just perfect for four people to stay, each with their own bedroom. The house was exceptionally well stocked with supplies, linen, towels and those extras you may need. Julie accommodated the dog that accompanied on this trip as well. The fresh eggs were a bonus and the free range chickens were fun to watch. The grounds were lovely and the walking path was a perfect was to take in the nature around the house. Hopefully this stay will become a tradition! Thank you!

Our extended family stayed at Martin's over Easter weekend. It was the perfect location - private, yet close to services and amenities. The property has so many fun activities for everyone. He has put a lot of effort into his games house. Our adult kids spent hours there. The property is comfortable and a wonderful place to relax. Our family cooked every meal there and even made homemade pasta. The kitchen is well appointed for those who like to cook! Highly recommend Martin's place as a fun, comfortable getaway location close to Kingston and the wineries of Prince Edward County.

if your ever out in Carleton place they all say the Mississippi dripped off of Big Joe's face and also Scott has the best airbnb in the area! had a wonderful stay. went to Ottawa for the hockey playoffs and I had car trouble, Scott allowed me to use his truck since I had car trouble! absolutely above and beyond in all aspects. so generous and so thankful I stayed here. hot tub was so relaxing, and the loft style home is great for all -kids, guys, girls but is a gamers paradise especially if you grew up in the 80s and 90s! don't look further than Scotts place in Carleton place! I felt like family! 😆😊 incredibly thankful for Scott's generosity and I will be back anytime I'm out that way. This host and place shatters the 5 star scale just too bad we didn't win the game or would of been the perfect getaway. cheers Scott! you are the man!

We had a great stay here! Very easy to access and had a clean and welcoming atmosphere upon arrival. We loved all the cozy corners throughout the house and the property to sit and chat and play board games together. The fenced backyard was a huge plus for the two dogs in our crew, and we thoroughly enjoyed the back patio. With it being winter, we didn't get to enjoy the pool or basketball court, but even without access to those amenities, Liz's AIrbnb was the place to be (and would be even more so in the summer I can imagine!)

We had a busy time with two family events and really enjoyed returning to the house to relax and enjoy your amazing back yard. It is truly a peaceful oasis! Davids place was beautiful and made for an enjoyable stay for our group visit. He was responsive and provided all additional details both in our chats as well as leaving a small booklet in the cottage itself highlighting places of interest nearby. The firepit and the gazebo are the most impressive parts of the property. Wifi coverage inside the cottage was fantastic and was very useful for any further research since the cellular network coverage is spotty at best. Bon Echo is just about a 20 minute drive away and there are more places within a 1 hour radius though we chose to mostly have a leisurely time on the property itself. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, private fun time in the middle of nature.

Staying at Julia’s place was a great experience ! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described (if not better). The space was cozy, stylish, and had all the thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. Beautiful, peaceful, scenic cottage. Cozy and modern inside with a great enclosed porch overlooking the lake. Ample options for sitting outside, and lots of blankets and towels provided. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful through the stay.

Such a wonderful spot to escape to in South Frontenac!! The location right on the water was peaceful, and the amenities made it great for spending quality time together. We loved having access to the kayaks and a great selection of board games. The house came fully stocked with everything needed in the kitchen – there were lots of extra supplies that were easy to find. The fire pit was also the perfect spot to make s’mores in the evenings. The host was incredibly responsive and friendly throughout our booking and stay. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!!

I was looking for a place near Gatineau Park, and Marc-Andres's place fit the bill and was a very comfortable place to spend a week.

We had a great time at Breathe Vacation Rental’s unit. It was very clean and as expected. Very nice to have a pet friendly place steps from the ski hill. We will definitely be renting again in the future!
