Monthly Rentals in Tanjung Tokong

We loved staying at this Airbnb listing! The apartment is super cute and clean, and located in a very walkable area. There were lots of stores and restaurants nearby so it was very convenient for us during our stay. The host was very friendly and communicative as well. We will remember this place again for any future trips.

We stayed in the apartment for six weeks in November/December 2024 and were entirely satisfied. The apartment is spacious, with a large terrace directly overlooking the marina. Access is easy to the very pleasant, rooftop swimming pool. Straits Quay itself has a wide range of restaurants, some with live music several nights a week. There is also a well stocked supermarket in Straits Quay, with another, somewhat better value supermarket, 10 minutes walk from the apartment. Polly, Sirn Jie's Mum, was helpful and quick to resolve any minor issues. You do need to be aware that you are some distance from the centre of George Town, although with Grab taxi fares into the centre typically less than RM20 (just over €4/$4), this is not really much of an issue. We actually purchased a couple of inexpensive bicycles from Decathlon but you would probably need to be an experienced urban cyclist to feel entirely comfortable on the roads in Penang. We would be very happy to stay here again.

Richard is a very communicative host! He explained all the instructions in great detail, making it easy for us to check in and out. The property itself is very cozy, we really enjoyed our stay, loved the facilities, and couldn’t get enough of the amazing view from our room. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind!

We stayed in Christine's apartment for about a month and it is the 2nd time we did and again another excellent one. The apartment is within a highend property complex and well maintained. Strait Quay is a very nice residential area with supermarket and restaurants. It's very easy to get into the old heritage town by Grab or even by public buses. Christine is a very best host, responsible, reliable, efficient and friendly. Thank you Christine!
