Tamarack vacation rentals

This was my second stay here and I've come to think of this place as my retreat when I need to get away from the world. It's thoughtfully furnished for both humans and dogs, my furbaby thoroughly enjoyed the dog bed and the faux fur rug. I love how quiet it is, and although there are homes in the vicinity, I rarely hear anyone and the trees give the place privacy. It's away from the tourist corridor, which is exactly what I want, but withing 20 minutes of hiking trails and the grocery store. The host has been consistently responsive and a pleasure to communicate with each visit too!

Such a fun place! Convenient location. All the amenities and then some! We had a great time in the game room and the beds were super comfy!! A good nights sleep, fun convenient, clean and adorable! What more can you ask for in a vacation? Our family will be back!

We rented this cabin for our annual snowmobile trip with our whole family. It was a beautiful cabin and had plenty of room for us. Would recommend this cabin to anyone. Will definitely rent again in future

Loved staying at this cozy cabin. Star gazing from the hot tub was top notch. Clear instructions and place had everything we needed. Hope to stay again soon.

It was great weekend. The house and the neighborhood was even better than we expected. Pet friendly. A lot of space or the whole family, hot tub is amazing. Fresh air, great views, fishing, golf, hiking, tons of things to do. I highly recommend! Can’t wait to go there again!

Great place with lots of room. The only negative thing is the access for large trailers during the wintertime. We brought a crew crab long bed truck with a twenty-four-foot gooseneck trailer. With all the snow built up on the sides of the road and driveway it was difficult to get in and out. When it snowed another eight inches, we took the trailer into town to avoid damaging it or our truck when pulling out on the road.

I don’t even know where to begin. Not only was the place, exactly as described, beautiful and clean and private and large enough for our family of nine. Eric and Kristin were responsive to communications and very friendly. We were able to use the bikes in the garage (high-quality and well-maintained), the kids played pool, everybody felt right at home and everything was really easy to find and easy to use. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. Eric and Kristin were kind enough to help us through a bit of an emergency situation as well and we are forever grateful for that. Excellent humans and we will definitely be looking to stay here again in the future.

Family had a great stay. The unit itself is well-suited for a larger group of family with multiple kids. We never felt cramped or tight on space. Amenities were nice and very comfortable. Walkable access to poma was ideal for little kids to get on and off slopes without needing to drive or park at the lodge. Tamarack Team was responsive and very easy to work with. Will definitely look to stay here again.

Perfect cozy but spacious cabin with all necessary amenities. Great location with walking distance to lake and very close to all the restaurants and shops. Loved the wood burning stove and electric fireplace in bedroom. The only downside was the WiFi wasn’t very strong so if you wanted to work here it may be hard to since internet had very slow speeds. Luckily we took time off away from work and being “connected”. Definitely a great place to unplug. Fully stocked kitchen and restroom and very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful area and views even though everything was covered in snow. Easy to get to and roads for the most part and maintained and plowed. We loved that it was dog friendly and our pup really enjoyed sniffing around exploring outside. Overall a great comfy and cozy place. Would stay here again.

This particular cabin had a two car garage which was very helpful traveling with two families. It had a VERY spacious primary suite upstairs. The 2nd queen room was smaller and quite tight but with a closet and large bathroom storage. It was also nice to have three bathrooms - One for each adult couple and one for the kids. The location of this cabin was really great - such a short (like 25 yards) flat daily groomed path to the POMA lift which takes you to the top of the bunny hill. If you take the groomed path the other direction it led to a quiet open field - beautiful for morning or sunset walks. The trail would wind around to the osprey lodge (probably a mile) or you could follow it further out to open space. Daily driveway plowing and a pile of firewood just makes it feel so easy. Better grounds maintenance than anywhere else. Easy hot tub access right off the lovely covered and expansive deck. Food at Tamarack is still... mediocre at best. Maybe the new chef will save it…

Our family of 7 had a fantastic stay at Melissa’s place in Donnelly for a ski trip at Tamarack. The location is great for skiing—it only took us 12 minutes to get to the resort. The house is cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed. It was so nice to have access to the garage and plenty of storage space inside the house. The house was very clean. Check-in was super easy and Melissa communicated well. We would definitely stay there again!

Jennifer’s family cabin is a place I would visit again. Such an incredible place to stay in such an incredibly beautiful place. Thank you a ton, and thank you for being extremely responsive!

Excellent Airbnb! Probably the most well stocked kitchen I've ever seen - spices galore, oil, fresh garlic, tea and coffee. Incredibly clean, especially for pet friendly. King beds in each bedroom was very nice. Plenty of extra blankets and towels. Easy access to Tamarack - skip the high prices in the village and drive 10 minutes, you won't be sorry. Book Maria's place and enjoy yourself!

Tom and Becky were incredible hosts and made sure we had everything we needed for our first trip with our 3 month old baby! They were incredibly responsive and provided great recommendations for activities, restaurants and the like. The house was so cozy and welcoming and had a well-stocked kitchen that came in handy for food preparation! We’re live this area and Idaho and would definitely stay again.

The two main things that stood out to me about the house are the cleanliness of it and the setting. The house was spotless and tastefully decorated with very nice beds and pillows. It is situated in an upscale, quiet mountain neighborhood next to the most beautiful green valley. We enjoyed riding our bikes to the pond a few times just to take in the view and feel the breeze. The clubhouse pool is a decent size and overlooks the valley. New Meadows is about 15 minutes from McCall, so we loved our time there, too. We definitely hope to be back!

The cabin is well-appointed, blending rustic charm with modern conveniences. The beds are comfortable, and large windows bring in lots of natural light. Whether you’re sipping coffee on the porch or stargazing by the fire pit, the atmosphere is tranquil and rejuvenating. We really enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi on the spacious patio. Our kids enjoyed all the games they had around the cabin, it kept them very busy. The host is responsive and provides clear instructions, ensuring a smooth stay. It was the perfect little getaway for our family and friends. We left feeling refreshed and would gladly return. Highly recommend!

A beautiful cabin tucked away in a forest. It felt private and serene, with plenty of wildlife to watch. Loved the amenities and the open living spaces, no complaints whatsoever!

Absolutely perfect stay! The experience at this property was fantastic! The host, Monte, was wonderful and very flexible with check-in and check-out times. This was especially helpful while enjoying the nearby lake with a young grandson. The property was immaculate and well-maintained, providing everything needed and more.
