Monthly Rentals in Takase River

We had a great stay at TOKA/Kyoto! Even the room is small it felt very comfortable and we were able to lay down two bigger suitcases. The area is great, walking distance to cafes, restaurants, the river and bus stops. We have to point out that the staff went beyond to help us redirecting a parcel we got send from our previous hotel to TOKA. They were so helpful, calling the post agency and helping us out. Thanks again! All the staff we met were super friendly :)

Excellent property. Room is nice. Bed is very comfortable. Bathroom is excellent and was very clean. There is 1 clothes washing machine on property. It is reasonably priced and includes drying. The clothes drying feature for the bathroom is nice. The only issue is that it brings in cigarette smoke from the smoking room right outside the door. The room will smell like cigarette smoke until you turn it off. While it is conveniently located directly across from the entrance, if there is anybody in the hallway making any noise, you can hear it loud and clear.

The location is in a quiet neighborhood a short walk from the Keihan line, which runs up and down the city and will take you all the way to Osaka if needed. If you like walking, you can get to Kawaramachi and Kyoto Station and beyond. The room was spacious, spotless, and well-furnished, equipped with everything I needed and more. The coffee table and entryway were stocked with a number of travel pamphlets. The building itself is charming in a very '80s way, but the elevator is smooth and quiet. Last but certainly not least, Sumi is a true superhost, bringing much-needed Kyoto hospitality to Airbnb accommodations. She was ready to help with anything related to my trip, even things I hadn't though of yet.

Efficient, a great stop in the area. Completed perfectly with all the elements of the advertisement and self check-in helps a lot in the process.
