The private rental accommodation "Takasegawa Shichijo" is a fully renovated 115-year-old Machiya Townhouse. The Machiya Townhouse, which forms part of the beautiful scenery of Kyoto, has been remodeled into a building with high airtightness and thermal insulation performance while retaining its original structure, so that you can have a comfortable stay even in the humid and hot summers and harshly cold winters that are unique to Kyoto. From the Japanese-style room on the first floor, you can see the tsubo garden, which is designed in the image of a "roji" (*a garden leading to a tea room). In addition, we have provided a sofa in the hallway so that you can relax and enjoy the view of the tsubo garden. In the evening, you can spend a relaxing time while looking at the illuminated tsubo garden. There are 2 bedrooms on the 2nd floor: a Japanese-style room with 2 single beds and a Western-style room with 2 single beds. If there are 5 or more guests staying, we will lay futons in the Japanese-style room on the first floor and use it as a bedroom, though it is a bit of a hassle. The kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils and dishes for simple cooking.

This house is a former teahouse (ochaya) built more than 100 years ago on the central island of Kyoto. This traditional townhouse (machiya) has been entirely refurbished in order to comfortably accommodate a family with 2 bedrooms upstairs and 2 bathrooms on each floor. The kitchen is well equipped so you can prepare foods. The neighborhood is located between the main river of Kyoto, and a canal, it is quiet yet in the city center. Dues to its position it was called the island: shima 島🏝️

TabiTabi Kamogawa is a private Machiya house for one group per day, located along the Kamogawa River in Kyoto. From the living room and balcony you can enjoy beautiful river views and the changing seasons — cherry blossoms in spring, lush greenery in summer, colorful autumn leaves, and quiet winter scenery. Birds often fly across the river, creating a peaceful Kyoto atmosphere. The sunroom also features an indoor glamping tent for a unique stay with family or friends.

"Kyoto's Inn Kansuke" is a 1-building rental townhouse located 5 minutes on foot from Keihan Kiyomizu-gojo Station.

Our inn was apparently built in the early Showa period. We have renovated the bathroom and kitchen areas to make your stay more comfortable while still retaining the charm of the townhouse, such as the low ceilings and narrow, steep stairs. Why not try experiencing a bit of Kyoto life? Please note that we will charge a local accommodation tax (200 yen per person per night) in addition to the accommodation fee. Loft on top of a machiya

This is a unique loft space on top of a rare 3 floors machiya located on the central island of Kyoto. On the top floor of HASU former ryokan, we have designed an ensuite appartement with 2 rooms that are like 2 small houses. One room is located on the East side, and the other on the West side, they both have their own shower. The house was renovated in 2020 in order to offer an authentic experience in an ancient ryokan, with a contemporary comfort.
