Monthly Rentals in Swordle Farm

Lovely peaceful setting and comfortable cottage. I hurt my back and electric blanket was a bonus. Seonaid was so helpful providing medicines and heat packs. CD player didn’t work but great wee radio with good local station. Disappointed it was in the shade after about 11 but setting was lovely and we could drive out and explore easily. Amazing place for a getaway. Paul and Caroline recommended local places and came out to help us in the middle of the night when we managed to let a wasp into the cabin!

equipment needed. Plenty of space for all ages.( 84 to 18 month) White goods great for keeping up with washing, drying and washing up. Interesting area to stay if you like Western Scotland. Not for townies! Had a night out at the family ceilidh with friendly locals. Shop had essentials. Need to keep an eye on petrol as nearest at Strontian. Would be interesting to see it in Spring or Summer.

Excellent pod, really makes you realise you didn’t need a full blown house, sometimes it’s good to keep things simple! Had all we needed. The only thing we’d suggest, more so for those with dogs, is perhaps a fenced off area that separates the pod from the bungalow next door. Especially as the decking area is not secure if wanting to be outside. Would benefit both parties to have a bit more privacy and security for four legged friends. But Deans lovely, great communication throughout and pod comfy, warm and well equipped.
