We (a family with a young daughter) stayed four nights at Sebastiano’s place and had a wonderful time. The apartment is equipped with everything you need, very spacious (even larger than expected from the photos), and the balcony and terrace offer stunning views of Lake Lugano. Gandria is a charming, picturesque village with a few nice places to eat. The bus and boat stations are just a short walk away, and there are lovely paths for hiking and strolling. We don’t have a car and got around entirely with public transport — it takes a little planning but works very well. Sebastiano was a great host — very easy to communicate with and proactive, which made everything smooth and stress-free.

Roland is very responsive and well-engaged with his guests, he provided me with all the information i needed and was very clear with the instructions about the house! The house is lovely, modern, and overall cool. It comes with a lot of amenities and cute little things that make it an even more memorable stay! So many great photo spots that guests could take advantage of! Especially when the weather is nice, you can see the reflection of the mountains on the lake :)

She also helped me with the best tourist and beautiful places in the areas close to the residence. We definitely found our home away from home when visiting family in Vevey! The place is in a excellent location right next to the lake, above beautiful restaurants yet far enough back that you have privacy even while sitting on the terrace, and the terrace is where you will love to be on sunny days. Hans is so pleasant to deal with and made checking in very easy and provided us with many tips of places to visit before we even arrived. A must to remember that we forgot to ask for beforehand, make sure to request the Montreaux Riviera travel card that Hans offers in your welcome instructions. We have had this in the past and it is wonderful as it offers free trips on the bus routes and discounts on the boats and entry into many museums and attractions.

Wonderful holiday home on the shore of Walensee

We stayed at Peter’s place for our ski holiday to Flumserberg . The gondola to Tannonboden ( ski slopes ) is a five minute walk ( in ski boots) from the apartment and the apartment a mere few metres from the shore of lake Walensee . We loved the space and cleanliness . The raclette and fondue makers were an added bonus and made eating in after a long day on the pistes fun !! I would highly recommend this apartment and not hesitate to book again .

My husband, 6yo daughter, and I stayed at Carolina's apartment for two nights. The large terrace and the view of the lake and mountains are amazing - this alone is worth the stay. The apartment itself, though, was also very clean, comfortable, and spacious. The elevator directly to the apartment is convenient, and parking was very easy. The location is excellent - a quick walk to the lake, and we also walked to Locarno, stopping at multiple playgrounds along the way. There is a Coop gas station with a market nearby for quick groceries, and a bus station is also close. We had lovely autumn weather while there, so I can't speak to temperature control in the warmer months, but we did see several AC units, and there were fans available. All in all, I highly recommend and hope to return sometime very soon!

We enjoyed our stay! Thereze and her husband were incredibly friendly and helpful – you felt immediately welcome. We were particularly enthusiastic about the beautiful view from the balcony, which made every morning and evening something special. The four of us had a very nice time in this accommodation. Fabienne always responded quickly and answered our questions. The house is quite noisy and you have to be considerate of the neighbors in the evening – but we had no problems with that and still found the stay relaxing. We highly recommend this place.

It was lovely to be by the lake and very peaceful. it was also very convenient to be right by the station and the road without having to negotiate the narrow roads that are higher up the slopes. Excellent cleanliness throughout the house. The nearby highway was a small downside. Thanks to the top hosts Chantal and family for a pleasant stay in the lake villa.

Had a fantastic stay at this Zermatt Airbnb! The apartment is incredibly spacious and spotlessly clean — it felt like a home away from home. You can actually see the Matterhorn right from the window — truly unforgettable. The location is super convenient, just a 10-minute walk to either the gondola or the main street, which made getting around really easy. Despite being so central, the place is wonderfully quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxing after a day on the slopes. There’s also a ski locker available, which was super handy. All in all, an excellent stay — would absolutely come back again!

Great lakeside apartment in Vitznau with all the things you need when you're away from home. Judith was great about responding quickly to messages and left clear instructions in a nice book she put together for guests. Walking to the ferry station takes about 10 minutes and it's flat so it's easy to do even with luggage. It takes about an hour to get to Lucerne via the ferry but it's a nice scenic ride. Overall a great, quiet, place to stay with a really nice view and wonderful host. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Vitznau. Thanks, Judith!
