Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Swellendam

Beautiful place on a pretty working farm. The accommodation is private, modern and has all the necessary facilities. Loved the extra small touches. There’s so much to do on the property itself. We would go back!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful—spacious, clean, and instantly felt like home. It’s in a fantastic location, just a short walk to the water with a perfect jetty. We rented a boat and had so much fun exploring the area. Communication with Madi was excellent—she was super helpful and even arranged for wood to be delivered for us. The neighbours were lovely too, which just added to the warm and welcoming vibe. Highly recommend this place and we’ll definitely be back!

Die Bloubuis is the perfect getaway from the city. A tranquil farmhouse surrounded by a working farm. The house was clean, and matched the description and photos provided. A few days without electricity isn’t as bad as you’d think. Heleen was very responsive to all our queries. The house had all the amenities one needs for a couple of days, with plenty of open space to roam around such as walking or cycling. I would highly recommend Die Blouhuis for a family, a couple of friends or even a couple looking to shut off and unwind!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is situated in what seems to be a small valley. We used our time to walk into several directions including the rock pools and the bokmakierie trail. You have to walk this one as it takes you very high above the surroundings and gives you beautiful view all around. We regularly went to do our own game drives on the designated roads as we didn't had a 4x4 but still with a vehicle with high clearance. We saw a lot of Springbok, Gemsbok, Eland and Bontebok. We also did a bit of bird watching at the main dam early in the morning. The rest of the time just lounging around of course. The host was very responsive of our needs and questions. We would definitely be visiting Drie Kuilen again.

We stayed at Skyroo's Gemsbok Cottage for two nights in late April. We wanted a base in Bonnievale as we explored the food and wine destinations nearby. The cottage was spotlessly clean, neat, and had everything we needed for a restful few days in the countryside. As city residents accustomed to the hustle and bustle of urban life, it was so nice to sit on the stoep and just enjoy the sights and sounds of Mother Nature. Our thanks to John for the excellent communication, smooth check-in process, and memorable stay. We hope to return again soon!

This was one of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed at. The house is beautiful, spacious, and well-equipped with great attention to detail. The large terrace with a barbecue and fireplace was perfect for relaxing and eating. We loved the little dam for swimming and the peaceful surroundings made for great sleep in very comfortable beds. The big bathtub was a nice bonus. There’s plenty for kids to do on the farm, with friendly animals to meet. Tabby was an amazing host – helpful and supportive throughout our stay. We left feeling refreshed and will definitely be back!

we loved it. here you really get down to gear, we enjoyed the view and the surroundings. fantastic nature wherever you look. the hosts were super friendly and helpful. we stayed two nights but would definitely recommend more nights so that you can really get all the impressions.

Beautiful home with all necessary appliances. Well appointed bedrooms. Great outdoor covered patio. Plenty of room for a family get together. Thoroughly enjoyed being there. McGregor winery and tasting was excellent and extremely affordable. Great for children as they have a tasting plate for them with ice cream, grape juice and colouring in pictures and pencils.

We had an amazing 2 days here. Very peaceful! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away from the city. The cabin is comfy and has all you need for a relaxed timeout.

We loved our stay at Montevue. The place feels very remote and as though you have the farm to yourself. We enjoyed walks around on some of the trails and then did a couple of pit stops in Montagu as well. Wood fired hot tub is a treat and the sunsets and stargazing are amazing (at least when it’s not cloudy). Definitely an incredible experience.

Wow!!! What a gem of a place!! Unbelievable location and surroundings. This is definitely the place to go to when you want to get out of the city. The owners are just as nice as this place is beautiful. We will definitely be back. I also hope you get to meet Japie - kind soul who loves lamp tjops :) And go find the waterfall!!!!

Excellent incredibly remote location

One of the most amazing places. My boyfriend and I stayed there for two nights and it definitely wasn't long enough! The home itself was very substantial and had everything needed. It was situated in one of the most beautiful places with a dam and lovely wildlife. A lovely place for a break away. Would definitely go back again!

Stunning in so many ways. A mini majestic waterfall, a beautiful dam with incredible views and awesome floating, awesome hot tub. And even a cave we didn’t manage to visit this time. Lovely experience with the best host possible.

Amazing stay, really relaxing, and left with a extra to do list item; we have to replace our mattress at home with exactly the one in the lovely cabin :-) What a good nights sleep. Thx!

We really enjoyed our stay. The views are amazing and the house is conveniently located close to Robertson, McGregor and lots of wine estates and farms. The hot tub, inside fireplace and outside braai area make the place even more special. Cam and Martin were super helpful and friendly from booking to checkout. Awesome experience!
