Come and stay in the second oldest house in Montagu. This heritage Cape Dutch house was built in 1854 and has been carefully renovated to capture the period with a mix of of antiques and contemporary furniture. This creates a feeling of luxury and serenity when you enter the house with its high ceilings and extra large rooms. Condé Naste Traveller who featured the house described it as the coolest farmhouse to stay in SA. There is also the option to rent the whole house exclusively.

We are completely off the grid and not affected by load shedding. The cottage consists of twin beds and an ensuite bathroom, separate from the main house. In the morning, you can enjoy a manifold breakfast including home made bread, butter and eggs from the farm.
