Stanley Cottage is a little gem, near to the beach, easy access to supermarkets and in a friendly neighbourhood. The hot tub was a highlight, along with the outside room with its ensuite and TV.. a hit with my teenager. Thoughtful supplies on arrival. Thank you Ben.

Had a fantastic stay at Kris’ place, what a little gem! Great area, loved walking in Jesmond Dene and a short distance to the city centre. The hot tub was a lovely luxury, but the property is amazing in itself, very well equipped, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We were staying with a young baby and it was really appreciated that the travel cot was there set up ready for us, we’d highly recommend and will definitely book again in the future if we’re in the area.

Lynn’s place was immaculate! The Siding was full of thoughtful extras which made the stay really special. It was so comfy and we felt very relaxed during our stay. Great option, suggest booking ahead to all sit down restaurants, but plenty of local places with wonderful food. Fry-Fry in Wooler our favorite. Thank you for making our vacation a wonderful experience.

Absolutely lovely lodge in a great location to explore Northumberland. Grandparents staying and a grandchild to amuse for a few days. The pub and site is very friendly. The lodge is very cosy. Has everything you need for a homely stay. Perfectly sited next to the lake. Was visited daily by the swans and geese which the granddaughter loved. The hot tub was amazing to end a busy day visiting tourist spots. Diane the host was easily contactable should we need her, which we didn’t as everything was as stated. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Dianne. Look forward to staying again.

This place really took us by surprise. We drove 5.5 hours each way, just to visit and our biggest regret was not booking longer! Worth every bit of the money and drive. The place was private and peaceful. Very safe and secure and very quiet so you can really enjoy yourself. Really feels like you have the whole place and surrounding areas to yourself! Utensils and appliances wise you could see Jane has real care and attention to detail, everything you could need or think of was provided. And that too of high quality not just your budget items. The bbq was a proper bbq which was a joy to use. The hot tub come with lighting and jets. Even the pots and pans were tefal! A lot of time and money has gone into it all. Garden was well lit also for those late evenings. Was lovely to meet Ben also. So much more to say but we won’t ruin all the delightful surprises! Very happy with the stay and we will be back for sure. Thank you! And see you next time.

Rockpool is delightful. Sweet little house from the outside but once inside it is just so well thought out and beautifully decorated. Lovely views and luxury amenities. We didn’t want for anything, Jen has thought of everything. Lots of thoughtful touches for example make up mirrors and glass pots with cotton pads in the all the rooms. All the instructions for various things were framed and placed where you needed them and all intuitive. No lengthy ‘shouty’ manuals to read. Absolutely immaculate throughout, warm and cosy with an abundance of hot water when needed. The cottage Is also well positioned. We found some great places to visit. Can recommend: Amazing restaurant called Jolly fisherman in Craster. Things to do: Dustanburgh Castle. Holy Island, so quaint and a lovely morning/afternoon (watch tide times)! Low Newton nice for lunch and a wonderful beach for the dogs. Bamburgh Castle, again stunning beach 🤩 Alnwick Castle, where Harry Potter was filmed. 100% Recommend 👍

We had a great stay at Jay's place. The house had everything we needed in terms of amenities, and was very clean. Kitchen was well equipped. Jaya was very responsive and attended to all our needs. Anyway, only regret was that we only stayed one night ! Hope to come again to Jaya's place for our next visit in Newcastle !

Gorgeous property in a private and peaceful rural location. Well presented (in fact the pictures don’t do it justice) with huge bedrooms and fantastic views. Brilliant for families and in a great location for days out, we especially enjoyed Cragside and Beamish. The hosts are very kind and friendly and gave us lots of excellent recommendations, including a trip into Corbridge for tea and cake which was delightful.

Such a lovely spot for a family getaway. The patio looked out to woodland which was perfect for a secluded hot tub retreat. Location was great for tourist activities like Alnwick and Bamburgh, plus the zoo at the end of the road was awesome! The underfloor heating made the cabin toasty warm in what was a cold Feb half term!

We used the lodge as a base to travel across the border, to visit Holly Island, Bamburgh, Seahouses, Alnwick and more. Our first ever Airbnb and we were blown away! Claire is a great host, providing lots of fantastic local info before we arrived and clear instructions for the use of the house, even allowing us to book dates that weren’t originally available. The house is incredible, it’s light, spacious and so so clean! Attention to detail and design makes the whole place feel homely. After a long day of adventure with the kids this house was a joy to return too. The beach is stunning and so close, the landing bar/grill serves the best breakfast and the kids were in heaven with the vast rock pools and huge dunes all on the door step. I have already indicated we’ll be returning for another adventure next year!

The snug is perfect, so beautifully decorated and feels very cosy and homely. Sara provided everything you could possibly need for a weekend away which was incredible, the little goodie basket was such a treat. Communication with Sara was extremely easy and even when contacted on a Sunday, Sara replied to messages quickly. Sara is so an excellent host and we can’t wait to return to the amazing snug again! Thank you Sara for a brilliant stay.
