Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Sussex County

We came here for a spring break trip, and the house was absolutely perfect for us. The kitchen was expansive with lots of appliances and was easy to cook in. The bedrooms were perfect as well! The hot tub was wonderful to relax in during our stay. Super close to the ocean/boardwalk, outlets, and other nearby places like Lewes. We had such a wonderful time on the porch, in the livingroom for movie nights, and in the dining room for game nights. We got there and immediately wanted to plan another trip for the summer. The house was amazing, the location was amazing, and the host was kind and responded in a quick manner.

Well equipped house within very short walking distance to quite, private beach. Great amenities -- including bikes, kayak and paddle board. Private beach was gorgeous and very dog friendly, water was calm and shallow. Short driving distance to Lewes for great food, including terrific crabs.

This was a great place to stay while we went to the Ocean’s Calling music festival in Ocean City. The location was great, away from everything but still only a short drive. As someone who easily gets grossed out by air bnbs, it was so clean and comfortable, with plenty of space! Thanks for an incredible stay, will definitely want to stay again if we come back to the area!

We had a great time with friends and family over the weekend at your house. it was perfectly sized and spacious. The added advantage of having access to the clubhouse was a perfect arrangement for kids. Sharing a very few things that we think can be improved upon - a. Given the winters are off peak time for this beach town and the fact that outdoor amenities are not usable such as Tennis, Basketball and Pickleball courts, the clubhouse rate is steep. b. Having to carry our own linens is not that big an issue but does add more luggage. at least towels should have been provided. c. None of the toilets had any toiletries. It was clarified before the trip that toiletries will be provided so we were caught off guard. d. The powder room which is the only toilet in the first floor, did not have Trash Can. Otherwise, it was a good outing. There was something to do for everyone. We thoroughly enjoyed. Lynn was generous enough and allowed early check-in.

Sharee’s place was a dream. We bought our dogs and infant son and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay. There were clean towels and linens in every room, the kitchen was fully stocked (which was important to us because we cooked breakfast, lunch, and dinner most days), and bathrooms were spotless. Beds and all furniture were extremely comfortable and sturdy. We traveled to Ocean City and Rehobeth and both locations were really close. It was always nice to come back to a peaceful neighborhood and home. Neighbors were also really friendly, so that’s a plus! We’ll be back and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone interested.

David’s house was well appointed and in a quiet, walkable neighborhood. The front and rear screened porches made for a very inviting atmosphere, and the bed linens were super comfortable. A great kitchen and dining space helped round out what was a terrific home overall. Thank you.

This was our third time staying at Chai's place, this time for the holidays, and it was once again just what we needed. The location is perfect—very close to the heart of Rehoboth Beach, but also tucked away for privacy and quiet. The kitchen has been newly remodeled and now opens out into the living room, which makes the space very homey and inviting. Bedrooms are comfortable, and the dining room/sun room is also great for hanging out. Chai is very quick to respond and friendly. A great option if you're visiting Rehoboth.

Our time spent in Reho was fantastic and so happy we had a great Airbnb to return to after all our excursions!

We had a wonderful stay. The Apartment itself is stunning and very well equipped. Located right in the heart of the historic Lewes town center and close driving distance to many beautiful natural preserves and beaches. Ashley was a great host, friendly and communicative. I definitely recommend staying here and would stay again.

We’ve stayed at Jeff & Carri’s place twice now, and both times we’ve had a great experience. The location is ideal, and the space has everything that our family of three needs. We will definitely come back!

This was my second time staying here. The units are extremely dog-friendly, offering plenty of space for pups to run around. The bed was very comfortable, and we loved relaxing on the patio. Guests also have access to a fire pit, which was a great bonus. It’s the ideal spot if you’re visiting Lewes, Rehoboth, or Dewey.

Perfect location near the boardwalk! It was nice to have off street parking and easy access to all restaurants, shops and the beach.

It was a beautiful place, felt very at home. They were very friendly and gave us our privacy given they live in the house next to the bnb. Their restaurant has some really good food (filet mignon mac and cheese was to die for) and good cheap drinks, and the discount for staying at their place was a plus. Would definitely recommend and would stay again or at any of their other listings.

We were visiting Rehoboth Beach briefly for the marathon, and John's place was the perfect spot to stay! Just half a mile to the boardwalk/beach, and super close to a lot of restaurants, bars, and shops in Rehoboth. John was in touch with us early and shared a helpful check-in guide well ahead of our stay. Comfortable bed, cozy apartment - highly recommend!

Very nice family space. Nice area to play games or watch movies on the rainy days. Kathy was super helpful with parking and getting settled.

Loved staying here!! Very comfy and secure. Stayed here with my boyfriend for a few days to explore the board walk + all the restaurants and it was a perfect place to come back to while being tired from all the activities the surrounding areas has to offer! It was our first real road trip far away and I felt very safe the whole stay. Patty and her husband are one of the nicest people out there!! Definitely recommend😊

Absolutely perfect place for a large family. A beautiful condo. A 20 minute drive to the beach. Surrounded by restaurants and shopping. The only drawback was the noise. Located behind a WaWa and near a busy intersection that had numerous EMS, police, and firetrucks day and night, it was always noisy. However, I would absolutely stay in this beautiful condo again. At the end of a fun day we were all tired and slept well. Shower heads amazing. Having two bathrooms was a must. Two people could shower at once and the water pressure was perfect. Loved the stocked shampoo/conditioner/ body wash. The kitchen had all the necessities needed if you forgot something at home. Towels were soft. Beds comfortable. Grateful we found this great place to stay. Thank you

Sue's place was absolutely perfect for our five night stay! Great location and an easy walk to the beach and town. The condo was so comfortable and had everything we could ever want. We were greeted with beautiful view of the lake every morning. It was everything we wanted and more. Sue and Don were the perfects hosts, so friendly and helpful! Can't wait to come back!

This condo is very clean and nicely equipped. We had no problems, locating it and certainly felt safe and had no problems. There is a diner right next to it which is within walkable distance. The beach and Boardwalk are about a 10 minute drive with traffic. A walk to these areas would be relatively long but you could potentially ride a bike. Certainly would stay here again.

Perfect place for our stay. It was so clean and Zoltan and Noemy were so kind and gave us so much information. I'd give them more than 5 Stars if I could. I recommend their beautiful condo to anyone visiting Rehoboth! Thank you for a great stay!!

Jane was a wonderful host! Very responsive! The home was very cute and exactly what we needed. Close to the beach and activities, yet quiet! Will definitely stay again in the future!
