Granny's cottage was comfortable, clean and well stocked with amazing amenities. Night lights, sodas, coffee creamer, great selection of kitchen appliances and utensils, extra linens, s'mores kit, tissues, cooler, to go travel coffee cups, so many thoughtful touches. The bathroom was spotless. Dana was responsive and very helpful. We definitely recommend.

Clean, comfortable, quiet, and attention to details hardly describes how fabulous this little cabin is. There was absolutely nothing you could want or need that wasn’t already there for your use. Although I didn’t have a dog, it’s a doggy heaven with fenced yard, dog bowls, scooper and bags and a doggy door. The back porch had curtains to shield the afternoon sun and a fire pit. The large kitchen was stocked with chips and dip, and Kelli already had water in the coffee pot when we arrived. And had made up the day bed for sleeping for us. I would give 10 stars if I could. Best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. And best and informative communication with the host made for a very pleasant experience. Next time I pass that way I’ll stay longer.

Great stay. Location was great to get to everything quickly

We were attending a wedding in the area (at The Shiloh), and this place was perfect for my wife and I, plus our son & daughter in-law with their 2 infants and also our 2 yellow Labs. The place is well equipped and had everything we needed. It even had a crib for one of the babies and a fenced yard for the dogs. The house is on a ranch where we were all able to walk around the vast property and see horses, goats, and sheep. Great views of the mountains in the background. Sally was a great host. She is very friendly and responded almost immediately to any questions that we had. I would recommend Sally and this house to anyone looking to stay in that area for an event or just a nice peaceful get away in the country/mountains. There is also a banquet hall located on the ranch property for parties or events.

Our stay exceeded expectations. The beds were comfortable and everything was well maintained. We were 5 minutes from down town and about 20 min from some vineyards. Lee provided great instructions and check-in/check-out times were extremely generous. If I am in Mt Airy again, this is where I’ll stay.

This is an amazing hiuse in a beautiful and peaceful location. Joshua was a fantastic and responsive host. I could not have asked for better. I will definitely stay here again when I’m in town.

Joy is a delightful and thoughtful host. The little cabin/cottage is a nice, cozy place with a porch just right for friends to chat. It is very quiet but also handy to everything the area has to offer. I’ll be back!

Our host was responsive and kind. The home was large, clean and comfortable. The sunroom and patio were very relaxing and overlooking a country club. Close to Mayberry Town attractions. Highly recommend, we will be back!

Robbie’s place was amazing! The perfect size for what we needed and had all the items we needed (towels, soap, etc). Easy to find and enter with the clear instructions. Would definitely recommend!

This AirBnB was so lovely!! It was the perfect little studio for my trip and the hosts were incredibly responsive! There were plenty of available amenities and the layout was great! Would love to stay again if I’m in town again!

We loved Alison's place! So beautifully decorated, well-appointed and so comfortable! It had everything we could need for a longer term stay! The porch was the perf place to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee and the location was fantastic, beautiful area and close to everything, lots of great restaurants close by! Be clear, this is a small apartment…. BUT, it is super cute, a block and a half from Main Street and just a generally great location. David was very helpful with suggestions of things to do and super responsive. We are building in the area and hopefully we will be able to stay here again on our next trip.

Had a great time in Mayberry. Theresa's place was perfect for our overnight stay on our way south. Very clean and had everything we wanted.

I enjoyed my stay. It was close to the hospital I was working at and near shopping plazas and restaurants. Carolyn was amazing. She checked on me during the snow storm and was always available whenever I reached out. I look forward to booking again in the near future.

I would put this Airbnb at the top of my list for locations I’d definitely stay at again. The condo was PRISTINE and has been very well cared for. Even things like baseboards, ceiling fans were free of dust. Those are the places that reveal how well a property is truly maintained and they get an A++ ! I echo the comments of many other reviewers that this was a much better choice than any hotel. Yes, it’s a walk to the 3rd floor, but the stair well is very wide, indoors and carpeted. So it was a very easy, pleasant and stable climb. I felt very safe going to the 3rd floor alone. I don’t have a single critique. If you are thinking of booking, do it! 😉

We would definitely stay here again. Bathrooms and kitchen were spotless. On a clear day we had a beautiful view of the mountains and the valley below. Quaint shopping in Fancy Gap. Check out the wings and a beverage at Creek Bottom Brewing in Galax. Short trip to Mt Airy NC. We left feeling refreshed.
