Take it easy at our relaxing cabin while taking a step back in time. Located in State Road, NC, our cabin is made of 100-year-old logs by the one and only "Log Whisperer". The "Midnight Moon" is named after the black Quarter Horse "Moon" who joined his Mom in heaven in Dec. 2024. Spirit, our other black QH, remains at the cabin with his cow friends and new goat herd, who often graze the pastures surrounding our cabin. Relax by the fire or enjoy checkers on the porch, just soak it all in.

The house is 12 min by car (8 miles) from Mount Airy ,Andy Griffit's home town. There are many wineries with home made wine close by, situated in the mountain with mesmerizing views. My place is child and pets friendly with zipline, 2 trampolines, own gym, fish pond , fountains, hammocks and swings.
