Take it easy at our relaxing cabin while taking a step back in time. Located in State Road, NC, our cabin is made of 100-year-old logs by the one and only "Log Whisperer". The "Midnight Moon" is named after the black Quarter Horse "Moon" who joined his Mom in heaven in Dec. 2024. Spirit, our other black QH, remains at the cabin with his cow friends and new goat herd, who often graze the pastures surrounding our cabin. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place .It is completely PRIVATE. My place is 15 min away from Pilot Mountain states park and 25 min from Hanging rock state park. The house is 12 min by car (8 miles) from Mount Airy ,Andy Griffit's home town. There are many wineries with home made wine close by, situated in the mountain with mesmerizing views. My place is child and pets friendly with zipline, 2 trampolines, own gym, fish pond , fountains, hammocks and swings.

Our Daylight Basement has a king size bed and a full size daybed with a trundle twin bed underneath. Pilot Mtn can be seen from the porch. Full kitchen with stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker & toaster. Washer/dryer combo. TV Firestick. Lots of board games. The hot tub is up the front steps, on the opposite side of the house. Rocking chairs on your porch. This is our home so please do not damage anything. Please inform us any concerns BEFORE checkout so we can help.

Enjoy a secluded stay in our one of a kind, luxurious log cabin treehouse. The treehouse offers 2 bedrooms, the master bedroom on the main floor with a rock shower and the loft bedroom with a half bath. The treehouse has a full wrap around porch with jacuzzi tub overlooking a spring branch and fire pit. Enjoy the outdoor shower with a 16” rainfall shower head under the treehouse next to the spring branch. Our gravel road welcomes you to a cozy home in the trees.
