Vacation rentals in Suris

Wow!! Marie's house was beautiful and in lovely, tranquil surroundings. We were a party of 5 and the house and amenities were perfect. It was great to have a swimming pool to cool off from the summer sun. We booked for a week at a late stage but from the first enquiry to Marie and throughout our time there Marie was always very quick and helpful to respond. We absolutely recommend this wonderful house and host, but hopefully there will still be the opportunity for us to book again when we are in the Charente.

2 night stay at Emmanuel's place in Angouleme on the road to Cognac. A comfortable and spacious apartment feeling like being at home for our small group of 8 people with a large terrace that we unfortunately could not enjoy. A possible free parking nearby. Emmanuel was an accommodating host with our arrival and departure times.

The moment we walked into La Grenouillere, we knew we had made the perfect choice for our holiday in France. We were a party of 12 (three families) and felt we had so much space to spread out and relax, which we did so instantly. The positioning is wonderful, away from busy life, just nature and silence all around. Everything was lovely -beautiful building, large indoor living areas, wonderful outside spaces too with a fantastic pool, big enough for us all. The kitchen was well equiped for our cooking evenings, the barbeque was brilliant for outside cooking and a popular choice for all. Morning coffee on the back terrace overlooking the grounds was a great way to start the day as was sipping wine and beer sitting out the front watching the sun down and then star gazing . Playing boules on the ready made boules pitch was a highlight, so was playing cards round the kitchen table, big enough for us all. The surrounding area was beautiful and well used by us all, cycling or running on the many gravel paths criss crossing the countryside. There is plenty to do in and around the area-towns / cities to visit. We went to Angouleme and Poitiers and enjoyed eating outout and seeing the sites. We also enjoyed the canoeing at Mansle (wonderful to see the countryside from the meandering river on our 3 hour paddle), the inflatable water park near Angouleme was a big hit with our kids (big kids), as was the tree tops high ropes with us all. All in all we had an amazing experience and brilliant time. We were all very sad to leave.

We had a lovely stay at Rosemarie's. The setting is beautiful! The park and the small pond are peaceful places to recharge your batteries in Nature! Even though the sun wasn't there during the week we chose, I still enjoyed the pool. The reception and cleanliness of the place are impeccable. We'll be happy to go back!!! 😊

We were warmly welcomed by Colette and her husband, a couple of extreme kindness and responsive to our requests. We were staying with another couple of friends and the kids where they had a large garden for them to play. The accommodation was very well equipped. Nearby, a multitude of top-notch activities ( with planet challenge, terra aventura and Futuroscope). Go there without hesitation!!

This was a great place to stay with children who constantly want to do things. It was great having a pool, swing, table tennis table and pool table on site. It was also a great place to go from to explore the area. There is so much to do around here. Dave and Liz were really friendly and helpful, using their local knowledge to help us plan where to go. Thank you.

Thomas is a warm, generous and attentive host to the well-being of his tenants. His house is in his image, we immediately felt very comfortable there, children and adults alike. We had a pleasant stay in a beautiful rejuvenating environment, and luckily a bright sun offered us beautiful sunset lights.
