Vacation rentals in Suris

Fijne rustige vakantie gehad met onze drie kinderen (9, 7 en 5). Zwembad is enorme meerwaarde en goed onderhouden. Volledig uitgeruste woning, keukenmateriaal ook ruim (al hebben enkele pannen geen rechte bodem hetgeen onhandig is bij inductie). Decoratie van de woning bijzonder, maar ietwat "overshooting" in een vakantieverblijf. Wat last van mieren in huis. Eigenares woont in een afgesloten deel van de woning en ook al blijft ze zeker op de achtergrond, er is wel enige controle voelbaar. Huis warmt relatief makkelijk op (kan wat beperkt worden met sluiten van houten klapdeurtjes), maar kan terug gekoeld worden bij koudere nachten. Er is airco aanwezig, maar wordt niet aangeboden (besparingen). Warm water niet eindeloos, opgepast als je een warm bad neemt en daarna nog iemand wil douchen. Niet ontzettend veel activiteiten (met kinderen) in de omgeving, behalve kajak verhuur en accro park. Maar uiteindelijk is het zwembad toch de beste activiteit.

Séjour de 2 nuits chez Emmanuel à Angoulême sur la route de Cognac. Un appartement confortable et spacieux en ayant l’impression d’être à la maison pour notre petit groupe de 8 personnes avec une grande terrasse dont nous n’avons malheureusement pas pu profiter.Un parking possible gratuit à proximité. Emmanuel a été un hôte arrangeant avec nos horaires d’arrivée et de départ.

The moment we walked into La Grenouillere, we knew we had made the perfect choice for our holiday in France. We were a party of 12 (three families) and felt we had so much space to spread out and relax, which we did so instantly. The positioning is wonderful, away from busy life, just nature and silence all around. Everything was lovely -beautiful building, large indoor living areas, wonderful outside spaces too with a fantastic pool, big enough for us all. The kitchen was well equiped for our cooking evenings, the barbeque was brilliant for outside cooking and a popular choice for all. Morning coffee on the back terrace overlooking the grounds was a great way to start the day as was sipping wine and beer sitting out the front watching the sun down and then star gazing . Playing boules on the ready made boules pitch was a highlight, so was playing cards round the kitchen table, big enough for us all. The surrounding area was beautiful and well used by us all, cycling or running on the many gravel paths criss crossing the countryside. There is plenty to do in and around the area-towns / cities to visit. We went to Angouleme and Poitiers and enjoyed eating outout and seeing the sites. We also enjoyed the canoeing at Mansle (wonderful to see the countryside from the meandering river on our 3 hour paddle), the inflatable water park near Angouleme was a big hit with our kids (big kids), as was the tree tops high ropes with us all. All in all we had an amazing experience and brilliant time. We were all very sad to leave.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Rosemarie. La cadre est magnifique ! Le parc et le petit étang sont des lieux paisibles pour se ressourcer dans la Nature ! Même si le soleil n'était pas au rendez-vous pendant la semaine que nous avions choisie, j'ai quand même profité de la piscine. L'accueil et la propreté du lieu sont impeccables. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !!! 😊

Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement par Colette et son mari, un couple d'une extrême gentillesse et réactif à nos demandes. Nous étions en séjour avec un autre couple d'amis et les enfants où ils avaient un grand jardin pour qu'ils puissent jouer. Le logement était très bien équipé. Aux alentours, une multitude d'activités au top ( avec défi planète, terra aventura et le Futuroscope). Allez y sans hésiter !!

This was a great place to stay with children who constantly want to do things. It was great having a pool, swing, table tennis table and pool table on site. It was also a great place to go from to explore the area. There is so much to do around here. Dave and Liz were really friendly and helpful, using their local knowledge to help us plan where to go. Thank you.

Thomas est un hôte chaleureux, généreux et attentif au bien être de ses locataires. Sa maison est à son image, nous nous y sommes sentis immédiatement très à l'aise, enfants comme adultes. Nous y avons passé un séjour très agréable dans un bel environnement ressourçant , et par chance un grand soleil nous offrant à son coucher de magnifiques lumières.
