We loved our stay at the Artists bungalow! We enjoyed the privacy of the back yard, the hot tub, and the many interesting things to look at! We cooked our meals in the kitchen and it worked beautifully. Great experience! Highly recommend!

Our family of 3 stayed at John's house when visiting the area for a family funeral. We found it very clean, well stocked with all we needed, and conveniently located. John was a great communicator! We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and walkingin the neighborhoods and along the seawall. We will stay there again if we visit.

We had a great time at Jennifer's place and she was very helpful the entire time. The place was close to where we wanted to be and had all of the things we needed. The neighbors were also very nice and actually ended up giving us fresh shrimp they had gotten from the Gulf that day. Really enjoyed our time there and would likely use the house again.

Stayed with my husband and our 10 year old for our family vacation. We loved the place and felt at home. It was exactly like the photos. Beds were comfy and the place was clean. WiFi was very quick, and we loved the big shower! Loved how easy it was to cook at the house with all the utensils available. We also loved sitting on the front porch. Neighborhood felt safe and locals were friendly. Easy to walk to different places. Alberto and Julia were very friendly and quick to reply to any messages. They are the best hosts we’ve encountered. We would definitely book this property again when we come back to Galveston.

Breezy Beach Bungalow-Centrally Located

Beautiful place to stay. Had lots of towels. Close to a couple stores but not close to the beach area if you’re not used to walking. It took us a long time to get there so we used an Uber the next day. Local transit like the trolleys are not consistent with time and location. We waited over an hour at a trolley stop and ended up requesting an Uber. We were told that there’s one every 30 minutes. We did enjoy the beach while waiting and got lots of great photos. It just seemed different when it’s a cruise ship town and spread out, that affordable transit isn’t as accessible. But Malcom’s place is great for large groups, it’s updated, clean and he’s a great host! Highly recommended!!!

This house is probably the best location for it’s walkability to the coolest strip of beach in Surfside. The place was clean and creatively decorated—looks like newly renovated floors and countertops with custom art on the walls. Very chill, surfer vibe with a nice dark second bedroom for my wife to sleep in. Wi-Fi was strong enough for uninterrupted video calls and roku. Plus there’s some good eating nearby—fancy and dirty Cajun alike.

This is a great place to stay, easy beach access, peaceful, felt like we were at home. I would recommend this to my friends and we will be back next year.

This house was PERFECT for our family of 8. Everyone had a bed! The kitchen was full of everything we needed and then some! The kids did wish there was also a tv in the 3rd bedroom but that was not important to mom and dad. Kiddos loved having so many games available for the times it was rainy and night time, and all the extra beach toys available already at the house. We grilled out for dinner downstairs and loved that we had that option. The mosquitoes are HUNGRY and that was the only thing that affected our very short walk to the beach (not the hosts fault and a problem anywhere there) the front porch came with plenty of supplies to keep the mosquitoes at bay so we were able to enjoy coffee with the sound of the waves in the mornings. We had an absolutely great time and felt right at home here! During hurricane Beryl, Donna was responsive answering my questions about power and water and such. We are thankful the house was spared! We cant wait to come back already!

Due to a small house fire, we've been relocated as our insurance company does a total home remodel. We've stayed with Sharon and Ben for several months. They've become like family to us and we'll be staying in touch once our home project is complete and we move back home. This is a perfect, cozy, quiet setting in old Alvin proper..... a trip into the past, including family-like neighbors, with whom we've made tamales and shared many hours of laughter and music. The cottage is pristine and well-furnished. The neiborhood is cute and, again, very quiet. This has been a blessing to us in so many ways. We're going to hate moving out!

Very comfortable and peaceful place to stay for a relaxation weekend. Unfortunately heavy rain kept us in for a bit but overall a very nice stay. They thought of everything you might need and were there to answer any questions we had. Overall a great little getaway. Would definitely do again

Sandy Shores Galveston

Sandra's place was so much better than I was expecting. We stayed for two nights and there were four kids and three adults. We had ample sleeping arrangements and seating for dining and lounging. The house is more spacious than it looks online. The ceilings are nice and tall. The dining room is very large. We loved the old house character and all of the seaside decor. It is painted in cheerful colors, which was perfect for a beach getaway. The walk to the beach is short and easy. The beach (in February) wasn't crowded at all. Beautiful, soft, clean sand. Sandra's beds and linens were all nice quality and comfortable. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen. If given the chance we'd definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful time staying at The Peaceful Pearl. What a little GEM!! Totally stocked with more than you could imagine. Such a comfortable and homey stay. We look forward to booking again! Alysha was a most attentive host. Very friendly and helpful. Oh, and AC will freeze you out if you want!
