My son and I stayed here during a baseball tournament and we enjoyed our stay. Four minutes from the Gutchess Lumber Sports Complex. The arcade console brought me back to my childhood days, and it was the highlight of the place for my son. TV is not small (someone mentioned it only being 27")...it is larger than that and appropriate for the space. Couch was comfortable for TV watching. Bathroom had soap and shampoo which was nice to not have to bring. Kitchen worked well for us and had the general amenities we needed. I made protein pancakes (brought my own flat pan, batter, etc) each morning. Coffee is a French press (with an electric water heater thing for the water that was quick and easy), which I've never used but worked out just fine. The place has a slight odor (like probably everyone's older home does) and some mild stains on the carpet in the bedroom, but overall no concern to me. The place seemed clean and just like the photos, and we were right at home.

Jerry's place was very easy to find, and in a great location for my business trip. The studio apartment was immaculate (excellent job by his cleaner!) and well supplied with all the conveniences and appliances needed- the photo I saw didn't show a microwave, but I was happy to find one there. The shower? Bliss. Great pressure and ultra-modern style. Other reviewers have mentioned the street noise, but I've lived in a city before and had no problem falling asleep. Two fans and an air conditioner kept the place at a comfortable temperature. For me, as a mobility-challenged person, the apartment wasn't as good a fit as hoped. The stairs to the second floor are moderately steep with a turn at the top, and the mattress is lower than usual making it difficult for me to get up from the bed. If you have physical issues that way, just be aware of this and make your own determination. Also, one tenant has a cat, and if you have an allergy to them, you'll want to know that.

Our stay was brief but we felt instantly at home. So comfy, with some very thoughtful touches. And Marian was so great about communicating and making us feel welcome. Great bargain, too, by the way.

Great communication with the host! Everything was as described and the property was well kept, clean, and easy to access from the highway. Lots of dining options as well as a grocery store right down the street add to the convenience. Definitely recommend the sandwiches at nearby M&D Deli in downtown Cortland. Patrick provides everything you would need for a comfortable stay. We slept well! Definitely would stay here again if we return to the area! Thank you
