The villa is absolutely stunning. The views were amazing and we had everything we needed. Stephen was a great help if we needed any advice on the local area or transfers he was on the ball. Great host, great stay!!!

Amazing place to stay, very well equipped property with beautiful views of the lake and the town. Located a 5 minute drive away from town means you're close to restaurants/shops but far enough out for quiet and privacy. Wish we could have stayed for longer!

Perfect stay, Concha was attentive at all times and quick to respond to any questions or concerns, dealing with her is pleasant and she conveys confidence from the first moment. The accommodation is well located, the area is quiet but close to everything you might need. The house is cozy, tastefully decorated and cared for in every detail, equipped with everything you might need during your stay and true to the listing photos. Definitely an option to consider when visiting Écija and its surroundings, the saying goes "there's no place like home" But without a doubt in the house of the violets, you will feel almost at home. What a stunning house! Rafael and his girlfriend have renovated and decorated this house in such an unusual eclectic way, it is like a museum in itself.. full of interesting beautiful things... We had a lovely few days here as we travelled back to Malaga... such a peaceful setting and the view form the hot tub made my husbands birthday complete : ) It would be a fantastic summer house with the pool area and the games rooms... two kitchens and more than enough space for 2 families! But the warm cost fire in the down stairs sitting room was a benefit in these colder months... although we had fantastic weather for February! Thank you for letting us stay in your special house Rafael, it was delightful to meet you and we were very impressed with you and your girlfriends attention to detail in your decoration and you hospitality. We will always stay with you if when we are in the area and I highly recommend your house to everyone... Don't hesitate! : )

Fantastic house in a rural setting to relax and enjoy the tranquility. There is little space indoors, but it's not a problem because with the views, who's going to want to be inside. So if there are a lot of you and you're going in cold months, bring a coat. The whole house is very well equipped, very clean and a 10 for the host's attention. Don't hesitate to ask about things in the house, which will help you. You won't miss a thing. I had a very nice weekend, I recommend it.

We had a great time at Dave and Al's! They are adorable and made sure our stay went smoothly. The house is great: comfortable beds, cool during the day and possible to put on heating at night (we were with a baby and at the end of October it can be cool at night). We spent a lot of time outdoors: at the bottom of a staircase is the place with the dining table by the pool and not far from the hot tub. Great. In short, we'll be back with pleasure!

Marcha is a very friendly and accommodating host. She's very happy to help and answer messages at any time. We felt very welcome at all times. The cortijo is like a little oasis in the middle of Andalucian wilderness. Rustic and true to the surroundings, with a lovely pool and the very important bbq facilities. We felt at home and would be very happy to go back again
