We had a great stay at Iain’s charming cabin, he provided clear instructions before arrival for check in and some additional directions to find the place. When we arrived the cabin was very clean with all listed amenities available and everything topped up such as fire wood. Half way through our stay there was an electrical issue in the area which caused a power outage. Iain was quick to respond and try his best to get everything going again, when it became apparent this wouldn’t be until the following day he booked alternative accommodation for us and then welcomed us back into the cabin the following day. These things can’t be helped but Iain dealt with the situation in the best way possible which is all you can ask for. Once the fire is roaring the cabin becomes so cosy and a perfect place to return back to after exploring the Scottish countryside. Coupled with a comfy bed and an amazing view to wake up to you really can’t go wrong with a relaxing getaway here!

Ali is an excellent host - a truly wonderful lady with a really warm personality - she made us feel so welcome and looked after. The cabin is very comfortable and had everything we needed, but what we loved most was the quirkiness and noticing something new every time we wandered around. It’s clear that a lot of love and creativity has gone into this magical wee place. The grounds and location are so peaceful and tranquil - dining outside around the fire pit and stargazing after some time in the hot bath and sauna was a real treat. We loved the stillness of the place - a very welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. We absolutely loved our stay and have told all our friends about this wee gem. Great accommodation to chill and relax. Everything you need is there for a comfortable stay albeit in a hut - comfy beds, hot shower, woodburner and great wifi. We had a great time everything as described by host Fiona who was accessible and helpful throughout our stay. Local area has lots to see and do with walking, biking, paddleboarding, canoeing and fishing in the immediate area as well as the Rob Roy history stuff nearby. Will be arranging a return visit.

Very cozy and very friendly hosts. We would certainly recommend staying here. Ideal base for outdoor activities or just a quiet retreat with birds and squirrels in the backyard.
