Monthly Rentals in Streatlam

We had a wonderful stay at Haven cottage. It was our first holiday with our baby and the cottage had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and easy, with a travel cot, baby bath and even a baby carrier provided by Anna. The cottage was lovely and the location was perfect being a short walk to a pub, cafe and lots of country walks. I would highly recommend staying here and hope to do so again!

We stayed at The Bakehouse for a couple of nights as a little birthday celebration for our daughter. It was exactly what we were looking for. It is immaculately well kept and has obviously been renovated with love and attention to detail. It has everything you could need, there was even a special little bag of items for the dog. The cottage is just as described and if anything the rooms were larger than we anticipated. Beds were comfy, everything worked, the bath / shower was always hot and although we had no need of the log burner it was comforting to know it was ready to go. Loads of beautiful local walks and scenery, farm shops abound, and eye tests at Barnard Castle are easily accessible. I would definitely recommend The Bakehouse to friends and we hope to visit again. This was a great place to stay and was perfect for our road trip. Everyone was clean and modern and Pamela was an excellent host. The little extra touches such as providing bread, milk and eggs added to what was a lovely overnight stop. I highly recommend it!

Beautiful, homely, clean cottage. Quiet village, friendly neighbours with gorgeous views looking over a sheep field & rolling hills. Beds/bedding is very clean, comfortable and cosy - slept better than at home! Nicky and Chris have made lots of effort to provide everything you would need for your stay along with lots of recommendations on things to do! To be honest we couldn’t believe the standard provided for the price we paid. Would defiantly return!
