Love the open floor plan, the main bedroom had a very comfortable bed, super cute picnic table out front, chairs and tables out back with a fire pit. The best part was in the evenings, the sunset was absolutely beautiful!

We stayed at the Cottage about 2 weeks. This was our first trip to the Oauchita mts/forest. We found the location to work out pretty well for exploring the area of the national forest, Oauchita Lake and Hot Springs (this does require some driving). Everything at the Cottage is in good working order, spacious, well organized and generously stocked. Rudy was helpfull and readily available if we had any issues. Some reviewers had complaints of road noise which is somewhat of an issue, however this is a mountainous area with few roads and most homes are close to the road, so that's just how it is.

The Gypsy sunset cabin was so comfortable and well-stocked. The cabin is incredibly quiet and the star gazing is incredible. Very relaxing. Beautiful surroundings. Communication was excellent. It's a bit of a drive to any amenities and water-based activities, so we stocked up on groceries beforehand. We all chose to sleep in the rooms on the main 2 floors because it was a bit loud in the rooms downstairs in what seems to be a converted basement.

A really serene, peaceful cabin. They anticipated all potential needs and provided more amenities than I anticipated, which really made my visit more easeful. I enjoyed sitting by a fire each night and listening the chuck-will's-widow calls.
