Monthly Rentals in Stoke Gabriel

Cute, cosy cottage in the old part of this lovely village (don’t be put off by the much newer outer part of Stoke Gabriel on the approach). The cottage is well equipped (apart from having no actual wine glasses, oddly) and has all you need for a weeks stay, the shower was great and there was always enough hot water We were here in January, so we really appreciated the log burner and used to every day. Less than 5 minute walk to the well stocked village shop, the 2 village pubs (one was closed for refurbishment), Emma’s restaurant (highly regarded, but shut in January) and the River Shack on the quay (ditto). Be sure to follow Sharon’s directions to the cottage, as a sat nav will probably try to take you down Coombe Shute, which gets incredibly narrow (there’s a 6’6’’max width sign).

Wow! A very special and blissfully relaxing place. The view is breathtaking, the design flawless and Susanna and Nick were fantastic hosts. There’s so much to see and do in the area, but we found it difficult to tear ourselves away from such a wonderful place to stay.

Ed and Vicky have made a real homely place. They have thought of every detail including dog treats, dvds and board games. Very comfortable and outstandingly clean. The welcome pack is very informative, with the addition of local walks and details of what is in the village. We would definately recommend a stay here. Thankyou .

Really lovely cosy accommodation. We had a really relaxing time and felt very comfortable. We chose to eat in most nights and all kitchen amenities were present. Great communication from host Nicky. Would stay again and recommend to anyone.
