The Granary at Coes Vineyard, East Sussex

GeorgeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a blissful time at the granary and would definitely recommend this place to others. It’s a beautiful building but the grounds of Coes Farm and the added bonus of having a pool (which if you are lucky is essentially a private pool all to yourself as it was always empty when we went in) make it an amazing place to unwind and rest. The property had everything we needed, including some little ducks who came to the back door to welcome us! We would also recommend a trip to Canterbury while you are here, it is a beautiful place to visit.

Escape to quality and peace in East Sussex.

ClaireRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A lovely modern cottage, exactly as described and photographed. It was well kitted out and essentials were provided. The bed was super comfortable but just a gentle note that if you have any mobility issues the apex of the roof means that you cannot stand up straight around the bed and the bed is low but this was not a problem on our stay. Helena and Philip were both really friendly and helpful. My personal favourite touch was when Philip invited me to pick some roses from the cottage garden to take inside. The hot tub was a real treat but please be mindful that you are in someone’s back garden so not completely secluded if they are enjoying their own space. Highly recommend, we would definitely go back.

Fern Lodge at Oakwood West Holidays

EmmaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Absolutely stunning place. Like a super luxurious safari lodge! Whole area is beautiful and everything in the lodge is state of the art. We stayed with our 3 kids who fought over who would get the canopy bed in the lounge. Loved the hot tub, had a fab bbq and slept like babies. Spent a day at west wittering beach which is close by and felt like we were abroad. Sarah’s lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. She even let us stay all Sunday as they had no-one arriving at no extra cost. Who does that? We’ll definitely be back!

Stylish rural retreat nr Brighton, hot tub, WiFi

LouiseRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A wonderful stay at the piggery. really clear guidance and instructions fron the host Clare and lots of lovely optional extras available. check in was easy and flexible. The home was lovely and clean and beautifully simple in decor. A really relaxing atmosphere. the outdoor space was calming and secluded. You felt like you were in your own little piece of heaven. Two lovely runner ducks on site who popped by every morning and evening to say hello. A really quick response from Clare when we became short of wood and it was delivered less than 20 minutes later. Lots of lovely homely touches and all the appliances, cutlery and niceties you could need. I booked for a suprise weekend away for my partners 50th and he absolutely loved it. A truly relaxing getaway. There is lots to do in the area including walks, gardens and pubs but we enjoyed the site so much we just stayed in!

The Hideout - in the heart of Ashdown Forest

AlanRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We had a wonderful week at the Hideout. The accommodation was so comfortable and cosy and the setting so lovely. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the bed so comfy and the shower lovely and hot. We had an issue with one of the blinds (probably my fault!) and this was resolved almost immediately. Jo and Charles were very friendly and helpful, and gave great advice for what to do on one of our rainier days! The scenery around in the Ashdown Forest is beautiful, with endless possibilities for walking with our 2 dogs. There are so many other nice places nearby to visit - Battle, Lewes, Hever Castle, Sheffield Park and many more. We would thoroughly recommend the Hideout for a couple as perfect for exploring the local area.

Charming cottage - 2 Badgers Rest

MatthewRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Tina was super friendly, kind and helpful. We felt it was home away from home and enjoyed preparing some delicious food in the nice kitchen We loved walking our dog in the common where there were deer, squirrels and beautiful bird life. We were even lucky to try the Neighbour’s free range fresh eggs from their rescued chickens who have a second chance at life. Badger’s Rest’s beds are very comfortable and it is very peaceful for sleeping. That was our experience. The coffee machine was appreciated also the washing machine. We were at our last stage of our 6 month holiday of England and this was a soft place to land & to catch up on business and prepare ourselves for going home to Australia 🇦🇺 Thank you Tina for your care. Matt, Cora & Mushka our adorable adopted rescue dog. ❤️

Temple Cottage with sun terrace

LisaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Ian is a lovely host and Temple Cottage is just adorable. The fresh flowers in the kitchen and bedroom were such a lovely touch. It’s spotless, clean and fresh flat. The bedroom is so cosy and the bed is comfortable. Myself and Baxter (Frenchie) stopped to talk to Ian most days. Baxter got treats which made him happy too. Overall it was fantastic and it’s so close to all the shops, sea and it was just the r&r I needed. Thanks Ian.

Cottage 1 within grounds of moated house

DavidRating, 5 stars1 month ago
very picturesque location with everything you need. A number of nice touches, with some food bits on arrival (milk, butter, variety of teas, coffee, bread, jams, crackers). Plenty of toiletries and had things like cooking foil, dishwasher tabs, washing powder, washing up liquid/sponges, towels, shower gel etc, which really reduced what we had to buy or bring. The owners gave warnings about deep water on site (behind fences), but we felt really safe and secure with our 5 and 7 year old. Loved the local walk at Devils Dike and ventured into Brighton many times as its a short drive. Great value for money too. The kids were sad to leave. Thanks Andrew and all at Newtimber Cottages
