Thank you Sandra for a wonderful stay. We had the most peaceful weekend at your beautiful cottage, what a treat to see the Spring lambs in the field opposite! We loved the hottub and the garden space especially, and the very quick wander to the local village shops and pubs.

A fabulous place! Peaceful and private. The surroundings were stunning and the accommodation was spacious and very special. The swimming pool, jacuzzi and gym were excellent and very clean and the games room impressive. We had an amazing few days.

We have visited a lot of air bnbs and I have to say this is one of the best. Every small detail that makes a difference is there. One of our friends is a professional chef and he was really impressed with the equipment in the kitchen. The garden is huge and beautifully kept. Coming with two small children the addition of some children’s toys and games was great. Everything is in pristine condition and exceptionally clean. A really exceptional air bnb!

Had a great time at the Wisteria Lodge - very clean, hosts were very friendly and was perfect for a quiet getaway from the city. Would recommend!

We stayed for 4 nights in April 2025, 2 adults and 2 children (9 and 13). Fabulous stay, the cottage is lovely and tucked away from the road. The hot tub was a big hit and made the stay that little bit more amazing! Excellent host and a lovely cottage, we will be back.

We had such a lovely stay! The house is beautiful as are the surroundings. The log fires hot tub is a fantastic feature! Clare was always super responsive and flexible with our slightly later check out time. Would 100% recommend staying here.

Stayed for 4 nights in this peaceful ‘Hideaway’. The views were amazing and the hosts were really helpful - we even booked a reflexology treatment. The home had lots of amenities (tea, salt pepper etc) and there were lots of books/maps to read on the local area. There were beautiful walks on the doorstep and our dog enjoyed the enclosed garden. Would definitely recommend!

It was such a lovely stay at Lucy and Nick! Everything was perfect and all the family so lovely and welcoming. The cottage, the surroundings, the animals, the region, .. I will come back soon for sure!

Had to move myself and two small dogs out of my home at quite short notice for some works to be done. Found this beautiful little cottage in the grounds of a family home on the Goodwood estate that looked perfect. Small, private and secure enabling me to set up to work within a few minutes of arriving. Carol was super flexible, enabling me to move in over my lunch break and provided easy to read instructions for a seamless move. The place was just as described and spotless. A welcome basket was provided with local bread, butter and conserves, chocolate and biscuits, as well as, should you need them, lots of ideas for local places of interest to view. The dogs and I had a thoroughly rested stay, was able to work without interruption and were able to enjoy the secluded and private garden with some friends who came to visit. It was lovely to be met at the gate most days by two friendly hens. The cottage represented exceptional value for money and I would highly recommend.

Beautiful peaceful spot. Esme friendly and helpful. For example, log supply replenished without delay. Cottage very comfortable, could only be improved by the provision of a tea cosy !!!!!

Caroline's cottage was so peaceful and beautiful, set in a gorgeous setting. Caroline provided groceries for a cooked breakfast as well as croissants, which was a great touch and saved us the issue of finding local shops etc. It was lovely waking up to bird song. We loved the way Caroline's ducks came to greet us as we set off each day. Thank you Caroline for responding to any enquiries so swiftly too. Your cottage was so cosy and comfortable.

Lovely cottage. The hosts dad was lovely and friendly and very attentive. Made us feel very welcome. The cottage has beautiful surroundings and is extremely peaceful. We felt very at home and the cottage was very cosy . Was nice to have a warm place . Lovely walks as well.

The location is special : right by the sea, totally quiet, a short walk or bike ride into town. Comfortable, clean house, plenty of hot water and heating if required. Very responsive agency. And Caroline, the owner, makes her own icecream ! Delicious, and available in local shops.

What a stunning cottage! It matched the idyllic location. Decor was simple and comfortable, the kitchen was very well equipped and my husband wants to steal the shower. Fresh flowers, a generous fruit bowl and milk made a kind welcome. The peaceful, dog-secure, suntrap garden is great to relax in after long walks on the South Downs with many paths starting from the front door. The George is a friendly pub with good food and drink within 5 minutes stroll. Wagtail Cottage is the perfect place to unwind.

It’s honestly the first place we’ve stayed at I Reigate that felt homely and comfortable. The mattress was comfortable. The entire place feels warm. Well done David

Booked to stay at Jane’s beautiful cottage for nearly a month, due to a water leak making my home not safe to live in. From the first enquiry, Jane has been amazing, she is so reassuring, friendly, welcoming and proactive. She really helped to ease me in this difficult time. The property is exactly as described on her page and it’s safe to say it is certainly a home from home. It had all the amenities I needed to live as I would at home, the beds were incredibly comfortable, the living room cosy and the garden is gorgeous for when the sun is shining. Plenty of parking for our cars and even more reassurance being behind a private gate too. Even my dog settled into this property quickly and made herself at home! Although I didn’t need them, it was nice to see a selection of local guides, booklets and maps in the cottage for those not familiar with the area. I can’t recommend Jane and her cottage enough, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to stay to anyone visiting the area!

Peaceful location, annexe equipped with all necessary amenities, great place to stay and lovely location . Slept well , owners very friendly and responsive.

Diana’s beautiful countryside cottage is nestled into the East Sussex countryside, providing a quiet and remote getaway, but within easy drive of shops and several lovely Sussex towns and villages. Beautiful walks in the area.. in the winter bring your waterproof boots and enjoy!! Great for a stay with family or friends, lots of lovely spaces in the house ( the photos don’t do it justice). We stayed between Christmas and new year, so we appreciated and enjoyed the abundance of coal for our daily evening fires, providing a warm and very cozy atmosphere. Very well equipped kitchen with enough space around the table for 6 or 7 people. All our needs were met. Well worth a stay, I would highly recommend this place and we will surely return! Gill

We recently stayed at this lovely cottage from December 29th to January 1st, and we can’t recommend it highly enough! The cottage was well-maintained, super cosy, and felt like a perfect little escape. Here are some of the highlights: Location The cottage is right on the edge of the South Downs, and waking up to those fantastic views every morning was such a treat. It’s also conveniently close to Newhaven for shopping, with reliable and frequent public transport options. We rented a car for part of our stay, and while parking near the cottage can be a bit tight for larger vehicles (as the listing clearly mentions), it wasn’t a major issue for us. One of the things we loved most was the tranquillity—you could hear nothing at night, which was such a refreshing change. If you’re visiting in winter, don’t forget your boots for those beautiful South Downs walks! The Property The cottage was in great condition and very well-equipped—it had everything we needed and then some. Since we visit

The cottage was a real home from home. Really important for us as we had to stay for two months whilst work was being done on our house. It was warm (essential in January and February), cosy, comfortable and extremely well equipped. John and Jane were thoughtful and helpful. After a very stressful few months we were able to relax and enjoy our extended holiday.

Teresa is a great host. Always ready to communicate and left lots of provisions. The cottage was quaint and airy with a real fire ready to go if you wanted. The surrounding area was beautiful and with some sheep too. Didn't attempt a walk but would be recommended to do so.
