This magical A-frame cabin was the perfect peaceful escape for my husband, our dog, and me. Tucked right on the water, it offered instant tranquility with stunning views from inside and out. The cabin is beautifully designed with cozy touches and thoughtful details that made us feel right at home. We loved kayaking, unplugging, and just soaking in the quiet. Our dog had the time of her life jumping into the lake, chasing geese, and running freely in the enclosed yard and deck. The hosts were incredibly responsive and kind, offering great suggestions and making the experience seamless. We didn’t want to leave. Peaceful, cozy, beautiful—1000% coming back. This place is a gem!

My buddy and I went for a weekend getaway and it was great. The place was cozy, really clean and organized. The property itself was amazing as well, it has a huge yard with a water source where you can fish and/or kayak. Firewood was provided for the fire pit so that was a big plus. Overall it was a nice and peaceful retreat. Thank you for your hospitality Alan, we look forward to coming back

My niece and I had a girl's weekend. It was the perfect place to stay. Beautiful accommodations, the water and view is spectacular. Its peaceful and quiet. The host gave great information and everything was as described. Close enough to drive to Weatherford and Fort Worth if you want to expand site seeing. Great fenced in yard for the family pups. We will come back and bring our boat next year. We felt absolutely safe, it's a gated community with a security guard. If you have ever stayed on the lake you know that you will wind through the neighborhood to get to the water properties. I have to admit the drive after the gate had me nervous in places but don't worry. You will not be disappointed. Most streets are immaculately kept as are the properties around the house. The decor is a little bit of western texas with a splash of lake. We only cooked once but everything we needed was there. There is not a single negative I can think of. I highly recommend this place.

We spent my birthday weekend at this property. Our original booking for another property with an other host cancelled at the last minute and luckily this one was available. I am so glad we found this one. It turned out to be perfect and better suited for our weekend. The communication with the hosts was exceptional and we even got to meet them in person. The historical architecture mixed with an eclectic contemporary decor made for a great vibe. The porch with the courtyard and waterfall was beyond relaxing. We will definitely book here again and will recommend to others.

Literally right next to the college it was sooo nice to be able to have great family time! The house is huge! Plenty of room for all of us!

The amenities offered by the host are what I envision an AirBnB are supposed to be.... !! A refreshing check out time - not having to get rushed out the door and bombarded with threatening and abhorrent late check out fees. They established a late check out time even though we were out by ~10am anyways. And the check out idiotic "chores" that some hosts request guests to do - those were not present here!

We had enjoyed staying here! Our dogs love the house and backyard such a great space for fury friends! We definitely will be coming back here to stay!

We visited for the total solar eclipse as the property was in the path of totality. The property was exactly as described. The "master suite" part of the property was nice having its own entrance/exit from the other two bedrooms. We took my sister and two nephews with us. Our 4-year old nephew loved having his own big room and bathroom. A pack and play was provided for the youngest nephew - which was appreciated. The kitchen was well stocked and the washer/dryer was a nice addition. The swimming pool was also nice. There is an outdoor area to BBQ, however, its a community item so if someone else was using it you were unable. We changed our menu plans so it wouldn't be an issue for us. The river walk was also nice for our dogs. The property is kept up very nice, the landscaping is beautiful and the doggy stations along the perimeter are appreciated. We would definitely visit here again.

Wonderful place, great location, we loved the setting and would definitely come back again when in the area. Hosts were very nice and respectful as well as responsive to questions. We loved our stay here! Close to Tarleton so getting to and from was super quick and easy! Had local restaurant recommendations posted which helped! Would definitely recommend!

Loved the house, plenty of parking for our carport of ladies. The house was clean for the most part and definitely would stay again.

A beautiful view of the lake any time of the day. The back deck is amazing. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The house had a great layout, and we loved the large kitchen, comfy furniture, and having onsite laundry.

Great place. Very clean. Well stocked. Totally bummed that we picked the one weekend that it was cold 🥶 but the pool looked awesome and the lake looked calm. Will stay again!

This definitely is one of our top favorite stays; words cannot describe how peaceful & beautiful the surrounding land was, but the house was so calm, comfortable and made us feel right at home. It was large & spacious, and absolutely would be a great space for a large family to relax comfortably.

I stayed in this beautiful home for 5 nights, and it was clean, well-stocked, and private. Cathy had everything decorated for Halloween; it was adorable! It was the perfect location to meet up with my mother. This host has thought of everything and is very responsive. I would recommend checking out this Airbnb if you are in the Lake Grandbury area. It was a great stay!!

Great space to spend time Easter with my son who is a student at Tarleton and couldn’t come home. The apartment was just what we needed. The grounds were so peaceful and the horses were a nice touch. Will stay again!

My family members and I absolutely loved the Little Off Lake House! We all prefer country to city, so we really appreciated having such a relaxing, beautiful place to stay. We enjoyed seeing the local critters that we did, from domestic to wild. We all sat on the deck overlooking the beautiful lake every morning and evening, enjoying the peaceful view. The house itself was wonderful, easy for us since none of us are exactly 'spring chickens', ha ha. The beds were comfortable, had soft sheets, and were beautifully made up, and there were lots and lots of towels to use which was also appreciated. All too soon our stay was over, but we liked it so much we hope to come back again.

great stay! nice view of the water, peaceful neighborhood. Beds were comfy. the place did have some wear and tear, like chipped paint, but nothing major. one of the beds had sheets that were stained- I'm sure they had been washed but did need to be replaced. bathroom had only one hand towel and the soap dispenser was empty, but I found hand soap in the kitchen. there's no dishwasher, just a heads up for future guests. place seemed to be clean, and hosts were great at reaching out to see if we needed anything. overall, we had a great time.

Everything about my stay was great. Melanie was awesome — super easy to work with and made the whole process smooth. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. No complaints at all. Would definitely stay here again.
