Absolutely loved our stay at this charming retreat! The peaceful surroundings, fresh air, and beautiful scenery made it perfect! The home was cozy, comfortable, and super clean. We were lucky enough to have a mare and foal in the backyard pasture to keep us entertained—such a special experience. Waking up to a playful foal, chirping birds, while sipping coffee on the porch was a highlight of each day. Cindy was kind, helpful, & responsive. We can’t wait to come back!

We love the tiny Creekside Cottage. Every detail was thought of! Great for a couple, private, and lovely spot next to a creek with a small waterfall just feet away. The bed was comfy and the kitchen had everything you needed, included coffee set up :) Highly recommend and would stay again next trip to Hico!
