Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Stellenbosch Central

Lovely space after a day spent in the mountains! Two fires to enjoy, and the most comfortable bed and linen! enjoyed our time and would stay again. Walked around the land a bit, picked a couple of lemons off the bountiful trees, and enjoyed a movie by the fire with dinner made on the outdoor braai/bbq. Vicki was very responsive and the property felt very private and well kitted out.

We had a lovely stay at Werner's place as two families with 5 adults and 3 kids. The space was the perfect size. Not too big that we felt disconnected from each other, but also not so small that we felt we were in each other's space. It's also a beautiful location, and just a few minutes walk to a winery. Very well stocked in terms of crockery and glassware. Will definitely book again!

Really great base for a 2 week stay. Brendan was really responsive and went out of his way to set up a travel cot and provide a baby chair, location was perfect about 5 mins from centre but dead quiet.

This is our second time staying at Melanie’s townhouse and our experience was just as great as it was before. We even noticed that she added some things we suggested after our first visit. We will be staying here again and again… it feels like home away from home.

What a privilege to stay at Julie’s place! The setting is gorgeous, hard to tear yourself away and go do the countless wonderful things available to do in the area. Right next to a small game farm with springbok, zebra,nyala. Located on a vibrant working vineyard, nestled in a refulgent colorful garden with a backdrop of stunning mountains. Everything you could want or need provided- even a cozy wood burning stove for winter evenings. Treat yourselves to the short hike up to the reservoir and swim in that secluded and majestic spot. Great birdlife. Overall excellent!

Great place. Next to a very busy road as described, so expect some noise from cars driving by. Hygiene was decent, could've been better for the bathroom but I checked in 3 hours before check-in time, so I suppose there wasn't enough time to adequately prepare the place for me. But Nelda is such an awesome communicator and her son was also very helpful.

This apartment was a true gem – spacious, tasteful, and packed with incredible amenities. It felt like a home away from home, not just a rental. The location was perfect: minutes from the centre of town but incredibly quiet, nestled on a charming cul-de-sac. It also felt very safe and secure. The kitchen was the best-equipped I’ve ever seen in an Airbnb, with high-end top-of-the-range appliances. Lize-Marie was a very responsive and helpful host, making our stay even better. We’ll definitely be back!

I had a wonderful stay. The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The host was warm and responsive, making check-in seamless and the entire experience comfortable. The location was perfect—close to shops, restaurants, and easy to get around. I felt safe and well taken care of. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

We decided on an unscheduled trip to visit the kids in Stellenbosch. Looked for a place to just sleep as our itenirary was jam packed. I booked, and minutes later received confirmation and instructions. Well communicated, everything was as it is described. Book here if you need a good value 1-2 day stopover. You will not be disappointed.

Wynand’s property was perfect for us - comfortable & central. Wynand was friendly & we appreciated the milk & eats that was provided! We were happy with our stay over at Wynand’s.

Wieneke's place is a fantastic space. The views are hard to beat, absolutely stunning and lovely to hear the ocean. Loved having my morning coffee in the sun on the balcony. Wieneke is a great host, super responsive and helpful. Will definitely book her place again! 100% recommend 👍🏻

The most amazing, cosy but spacious airbnb. I really enjoyed my time here. The space is beautifully decorated and has all the comforts of a fully functional home. And with the Ocean to great you right as you step out the door- what more could one ask for.

Fantastic apartment right in the very heart of Franschhoek - perfectly located for events happening in town. The apartment has everything one would need for a great stay. Mark is a very welcoming and accomodating host. One thing to note - It is directly above two restaurants which can make things a bit noisy - if you want total peace and quiet this might not work for you as the vibes continues into the night but if you enjoy such vibes this is an amazing spot. We will definitely be back!

We recently stayed at Pip’s Place again, and once again, it exceeded our expectations! Glen’s apartment is always spotless, comfortable, and perfectly located. What really makes this place special are the hosts. They are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything – whether it’s recommendations, check-in needs, or just a warm hello.
