There is a very nice promenade along the lake with many restaurants and great recreational opportunities also for children. Strandbad, mini golf, boat and bike rental and children's playground are directly on the lake, as well as a beautiful hiking trail (6.6 km) around the lake. It is 8 km to Neuschwanstein Castle, 4 km to Füssen and 2 km to Forggensee by boat trip.
