Here you live in the middle of Lofoten, a perfect starting point for excursions around the island kingdom. Here you get to experience peace and quiet away from the biggest tourist crowds. Mountains and sea right outside the door, waves and seagulls from the sea and bleating sheep in the mountains. Enjoy a lunch or a glass of wine on the quay at Kaikanten Kro and Rorbu only 30m away (summer). Or how about a mountain hike late in the evening in the light of the midnight sun?

Feriehus in vakre Steigen

Steigen is often referred to as the "most beautiful natural secret in Nordland". Steigen has, among other things, the densest population of sea eagles in Norway with around 60 breeding pairs and if you are lucky you will be able to see sea eagles flying past the living room windows of the house. A few meters from the house there is a path to Åsjordvatnet, where there are barbecue huts and the possibility of fishing and swimming. A little longer walk is to Galtvatnet where you can fish and swim. There is also a hiking trail from the house to Kråktindan.

Relax with the whole family at this unique residence. The cabin is very idyllically located in peaceful surroundings right by the sea. Take a refreshing swim in the sea right outside the cabin and enjoy the sauna afterwards! Our guests appreciate the good standard in scenic surroundings, fabulous views and great outdoor area. An excellent starting point for nice mountain trips and good restaurant visits. There are also good fishing opportunities nearby. Short distance (about 10 minutes by car) to the store and speedboat dock.

This old farmhouse on Liland is located in a peaceful scenic area, perfect for those who want quiet days on Liland, but also as a base for spectacular outdoor experiences in Steigen. Bright and pleasant cabin of about 45 sqm. 1 × 150 cm bed and single bunk bed. There is an extra mattress and bed in the loft. Mini fridge in the kitchen. Washing machine and freezer in the storage room. Toilet, sink and shower in the bathroom. Gazebo on the mountain by the sea. Large lawn with playground and trees to attach hammocks to. Small gas grill that can be used. 2 bicycles that can be used. Outdoor toys and games for children are also available.

In this cozy cabin you can relax with the whole family. Here you can go fishing and many nice trips. Boat included. It's a typical "cabin-cabin". Outdoor toilet, poor coverage (SMS works ok), wood for heating, gas stove for cooking, washing up by hand, and water in the outdoor tap. It is a 5-minute walk from the parking lot to the cabin. It is about 10 minutes to the nearest grocery store. 20 minutes to the municipal center Leinesfjord.

You can not get more central in Lofoten. In this fantastic cabin you live luxuriously and can enjoy the spectacular views in all directions. Situated close to Buksnesfjorden, which goes into Leknes city, which again is only 15 minutes away by car and has all the shops you need, as well as restaurants and cafes. At Mortsund, a few stone's throw away, you will also find a wonderfully nice restaurant and an experience center.

The cabin is located in the village of Nes on Hamarøy, 5 km from Skutvik. The cabin is located on the outskirts of the village and has the landlord as the closest neighbor.

Spacious house in incredible nature, without close neighbors. Fantastic hiking terrain. The 60 acres (approx. 16 acres) plot has a boathouse and its own beach line. Mushrooms, berries and fish in the immediate vicinity! Just as beautiful all year round.

Hamsun Lodge - Unique accomodation

Idyllic between majestic trees and with an adventurous view is Hamsun Lodge. The house belonged to Knut Hamsun's farm Skogheim when the author himself lived on Hamarøy from 1911 to 1917. Today the house is arranged for overnight stays for 2-6 people.
