Cabin vacation rentals in Stavanger

Our first trip to Norway has enchanted us and certainly also this beautiful cabin. The space is just a dream come true. We stayed with Erik for a week with five people and felt right at home. You can enjoy the view of the fjord, nature and tranquility. There are great excursion and hiking opportunities in the area. Erik was always quick to reach and a really friendly contact. We'd love to come back:-)

Venke and Simen were just fantastic hosts! Very friendly and responsive, and their place is a gem! The interior of the cabin is cosy and completely matched our taste. At the beginning of our stay we had a problem and they solved it quickly and efficiently. Thank you so much Venke and Simen for the wonderful stay! We hope to be back for more great surf sessions :)

We only stayed one night at the property. This little cabin is optimized to the maximum and you feel really good there. In good weather, the jacuzzi is a plus. Don't hesitate if you pass by and don't be afraid of adventure!

We felt very comfortable in the accommodation. The view of the fjord is fantastic. The place is super equipped and has everything you need. Susanne was very nice and gave us some tips for activities in the area.

Beautiful gorgeous area and that’s why we booked it! No bed sheets or pillow cases (maybe it’s a Norwegian thing to pay extra for that) and only one bathroom so was ok for 4, not sure how more could fit comfortably. Host was Great and the location and views is to die for!!!’

We had a lovely time with the family, beautifull and spacious home (even bigger then I thought from the pictures. The house has everything you need and is very clean. The area is just amazing!

Beautiful, clean complex that offers the opportunity to relax and explore the island by bike. The limited space in the hut is completely sufficient for two people and offers a special experience.

This cabin at Vostervatnet in Strand has a fantastic location all the way down to the water. To get down to the cabin, we had to walk about 150 meters down a path from the parking lot. With a private small beach, jacuzzi and several seating areas in a spacious garden, it was nice days in the sun. A small boat with an outboard motor could also be used. The cabin was clean, tidy and delicately decorated. It was nice to come to made beds. We enjoyed a good view from large living room windows in the evening. Espen was a very good host who responded quickly to messages and who wanted us to have a nice stay. Recommended, thank you very much for the loan!

The place is lovely, even more beautiful than the pictures. For us, it was the most beautiful place to stay in Norway. The garden, nature and the private beach are fantastic. We thought it was very good that we were allowed to use the canoes. Check-in was also great. øyvind welcomed us very nicely and showed us everything. He was always available and very nice. We are very glad to have booked the place and would come back any time :-) 10/10 stars 🌟

Elisabet has a really lovely cabin. Great views and nature right in front of the cabin and out the big windows. She was quick to respond to questions and we had a great ongoing contact during the stay. Great recommendation for cabin and Elisabet as a host.

Wonderful house in a fantastic location, good starting point for many activities in the surrounding area. However, it was difficult for us to go on excursions because the house and its location are so beautiful. We could look directly at the sea through the large windows or sit on the perfectly wind-protected terrace. Short walk to the beach Good bicycles and even an e-cargo bike are available for excursions. Very good and friendly contact with the host. Great decor, everything clean, everything available. And we had a sunset just like in the photos. 🌅Absolute recommendation!

The nice little house in Høle is a little pearl at the Fjord. It was renovated and decorated with a lot of love and you directly feel at home. It was really nice to chat with the owners. The house is the perfect start for stunning boat trips on the Lysefjord with the little boat available for use. The house offers a nice fire place to warm up afterwards. For kids a small collection of games and puzzles is available. The nearby town has a supermarket to get all needed items. Also Sandnes is not far for bigger shopping trips. We enjoyed the stay very much!

A beautiful and peaceful place on earth. Simple, but it's also part of the experience and charm. We were not missing anything. Both body and soul found peace here. We cooked outdoors, paddled in a canoe and slept well. The dog also enjoyed it. Ragnhild and Dag are really super hosts who made everything possible for a successful stay. Incredibly beautiful location, large cottage, nicely decorated with a wonderful view through a panoramic window to the sea. Located almost on a hiking trail that delighted us. The host is very nice and helpful. Only a small drawback is a toilet outside, but to be taken care of.

The place is super cozy and very private. A great experience - highly recommended! Check-in and check-out super flexible, communication is quick and straightforward 🙂

Superb cabin. Beautiful sea views from the deck and a nearby beach and marina for a swim. The huge space would house a whole family or more if needed. Lovely island location with views across the archipelago. Nearby supermarkets in Hjemelandsvagen. Close enough to Lysefjord for Preikestolen (Pulpit Rock) hike. We had a wonderful time and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Lovely private beach house with professional kitchen, lots of crockery/glassware, and equipment. Difficult for less mobile people, very narrow and steep spiral staircase to bathroom (with single toilet) and bedroom. Super view through sliding glass wall towards fjord, with 2 relaxing armchairs.. We would go back immediately, on a next trip in this area!!

Highly recommended for people looking for an authentic hut in the middle of nature. The hiking route to the cabin is very clearly indicated by Kurt and Kashia, and with this hike the adventure begins. The cabin is clean and exactly as described. Kurt responds kindly and quickly to the questions we asked. And further; in the morning, while drinking coffee in the sun, we were greeted by a herd of sheep that can graze freely in the area. Great!

Thank you for the wonderful days in the cozy cabin. The calmness settled as soon as we entered, everything was well organized, even fresh flowers on the dining table and a small attention to us. The weather was beautiful, we went on some nice walks in the mountains, but it was also wonderful to relax on the cozy terrace and just listen to the silence of nature. We hope to be able to come back at a later date.

We stayed at this beautiful accommodation for a week. The house offered enough space for 10 people (grandma and grandpa, and two families with children aged 6-13). Just sharing 1 bathroom and toilet asked some adaptability😊. The trampoline in the garden was really a godsend for our children. It is really an idyllic location, and the house has all the comforts. Nice to see the cows and sheep roam freely. From the house we made trips in the region, Stavanger is very well and quickly accessible and we also visited the Preikestolen. The communication with Daniel and Karoline was very nice and very fast. On location, I had a few practical questions and they were answered almost immediately. This house is highly recommended to stay in. Thank you for a very pleasant stay!

We felt very comfortable in the house and enjoyed the nature all around. The creek around the property is beautiful and invites you to cool off in one place. A recommendation is also worth the farm shop, which can be reached after a beautiful half hour walk.

Really nice stay in a cabin to get away from Stavanger for a weekend. The cabin was clean and tidy, with plenty space for our family of 4 plus our dog. Easy 5 minute walk from the car parking area (albeit, a bit tricky with the wheelbarrow when your son wants to go in it). Well equipped, well maintained and well situated in amongst the trees for a relaxing weekend spending time together. Easy driving distance from Stavanger, just remember to bring your shopping… Jørpeland isn’t too far, but far enough away that you might not want to make the journey too often. Would recommend and may return ourselves!
