Well equipped, spotless and in a beautiful location the Cottage had everything we needed for a cosy and welcoming stay. The Chris was really helpful with excellent communication even letting us know about an unexpected local road closure to ensure that we could plan accordingly.

Lovely cosy accomodation exactly as described and as in photos. Light and airy, very comfortable. Kitchenette facilities were fine for breakfast and making an evening meal as long as you plan the meal so that only needs microwave and one hotplate. Goodies left in the fridge were very welcome! Local buses very reliable even on Bank Holidays, to Dartmouth and King's ridge. Enjoyed local farm shop and Start Bay pub meals, local beer and cider. Excellent coastal walks without moving the car. Would stay again and recommend to friends and family.

Wonderful location and comfortable, well designed home. A little village out on its own with so much character and some great walks which are medium hard but good distances either way - to the left in the next village the Cricket Inn is delicious food and friendly staff - to the right a lighthouse. The views and beach really make this place… as well as being a close drive to Salcombe and Dartmouth. The house being is well stocked, stylish and comfortable so makes for easy living. We were a family of 7 and a dog and would highly recommend it. We did a Sainsbury’s food delivery to the house twice to make getting groceries easy and that worked perfectly too.

Rose Byre is absolutely lovely. The design is tasteful, calming and very well set out with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The welcome package of fresh milk, eggs and butter, sourdough bread and delicious home made brownies and jam was a very special touch. The cottage is set in patio with a sunny corner set with a table and chairs perfect for breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening. Sarah is a charming host and her spotless cottage is well worth visiting! We hope to be back!
