Cabin vacation rentals in Star Lake

We stayed here for a fishing weekend and the place was exactly what we were looking for. Loved the cabin and also the paddle boat. Janna the host was always available for any questions.

We had the most amazing time! We will most definitely be back. I couldn’t believe everything that was included. It truly felt like it was our house because everything was just so welcoming!! Incredible location - we LOVED it!

What a beautiful cabin on a secluded lake! I timed it perfectly to catch the magnificent foliage in full colour. Brian was incredibly helpful and proactive throughout my stay. Kayaking on the lake was a highlight, especially with a bald eagle soaring overhead for quite a while. The cabin itself was cosy and quick to warm up, making it the perfect retreat. Dawn’s muffins were excellent—highly recommended! Though my stay was brief, it was truly memorable. Thank you!

Our stay at Daniel’s cabin was delightful. From the outset, Daniel was incredibly accommodating, ensuring that check-in was seamless and that all details were clear. The cabin itself was cozy and comfortable. Each evening, we were treated to breathtaking sunsets over the lake, providing a serene backdrop for relaxation. The cabin’s proximity to the Bearskin Trail was a highlight; we enjoyed scenic bike rides into downtown Minocqua, immersing ourselves in the natural beauty of the area. Thank you, Daniel, for providing such a wonderful setting for our getaway. We left feeling refreshed and grateful for the experience.

This was the perfect place to stay for our memorial day weekend. It is close to our family, a quiet and convenient location for everything we like to do in the north woods. We would happily stay again.

We so enjoyed our stay at Corey's lakefront cabin! The cabin itself is so well built and has been recently remodeled. It's a family cabin and you truly felt like you are staying in someone's well stocked home. All the little extras you need for cooking (oils and SO many spices) and more. The bed was comfy and the surroundings were so quiet and peaceful. Located just under a half hour from town and close to the end of a long road, there was absolutely no traffic. We so enjoyed long evening walks and seeing the deer scamper through the forest. But you didn't have to leave the cabin to see deer as they made daily visits. Our favorite spot was out on the dock where the sunsets were often mirrored on the water and you could hear the loons calling at night. It truly is a special place!

Brent and Becky were great hosts who went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The cabin was immaculately clean, and there was a thoughtful and generous gift bag on the dining table when we arrived. The cabin was nicely renovated and comfortably furnished. The kitchen was well appointed and stocked with everything we might need in the way of dishes, cookware and appliances. There were even snacks provided! We had great communication from our first inquiry, throughout our stay and even after our return home. We spent our time driving to explore the fall colors, hiking, and photographing the Northwoods landscapes and waterfalls. The location was a good base to see both the UP and northern Wisconsin. Highlights included O Kun de Kun Falls, Bond Falls, The Black River Falls and Harbor, and Star Lake Nature Trail. The dark sky stargazing at the cabin was amazing, and we experienced an awesome display of Northern Lights! We highly recommend Paddlers Point.

Beautiful location, quiet can see so many stars at night. We went in the Spring as we wanted to visit state parks in northern Wisconsin. Couldn’t have asked for a better place.

This is a great place in the Northwoods and you get the best of both worlds. You enjoy your own separate house, but also have access to a dock and amenities of nearby resort (huge plus for our kids). There are great restaurants/bars nearby, and it is under 10 minutes to downtown Three Lakes. It's a beautiful and well maintained house with everything you need. Scott was very easy to communicate with and answered any questions we had promptly. I wish would have stayed longer, and we plan on returning next fall again. Highly recommended.

Was a very nice space and worth every penny. House was overall clean but could be a touch cleaner in certain areas. Our host was amazing, very responsive and willing to help. Hot tub was clean and amazing. Wildlife all around, great place!

This place was very beautiful and serene. After about 20 minutes of no service, you’ll find yourself there! Exactly what we were looking for! Beautiful views and peaceful property. Massive cozy cabin feel with an exceptional kitchen and plenty of space for everything we had! Joey was a wonderful host and went above and beyond to accommodate us! We are so very thankful! We definitely recommend booking here if you are looking for lots of room for a peaceful getaway!

Elkstone was the second property we have rented through Adam. This was a great property for 6 people (even though you could easily sleep 10) 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and the most amazing kitchen table! It was perfect for us. I really enjoyed having the king bed in the master bedroom and felt it was very comfortable. We love the area because we have a summer place in a campground right around the corner. It was close to everything we needed yet felt peaceful and secluded at nighttime. We even got to see a coyote running across the frozen river. Always a pleasure renting from Adam and will definitely rent again when needed!

My Fiencee and I are happy we came here for our anniversary weekend. super cozy romantic getaway. If you like nature this is perfect. 10/10

I have stayed at Jesse's place quite a few times now. This was the first time we had taken our four wheelers up. Although the weather wasn't completely cooperative, we were able to get out for quite a bit and had the time of our life. The trails are extremely easy to access, well marked and you can ride for hours without going on the same trail. The cabin was warm and inviting as always and I love the way he always thinks of the little things. I will be escaping up north many more times in the future. This will always be one of my favorite peaceful places!

We rented both sides and it worked great for two families. Two kitchens and two living rooms when you have 4 kids makes everything easier. The hot tub was a big hit with the kids and the walking distance to the hill was a bonus. We would definitely rent this place again!

Perfectly situated to all the hiking spots, and easy drive up to Copper Harbor, were already selling points. The acreage, the lake (when you find it), were even better than expected. My dog had the time of his life exploring the property, which made for a nice change of pace after a strenuous day of hiking. Quiet, immersed in nature, it was relaxing, rejuvenating, and wonderful stay. Thank you!

Highly recommend staying here. Beautiful place! Everything you would need for a few days or for a week. Will be back again.

Matt was incredibly accommodating for some special arrangements during our stay at his property. The house felt very private and had beautiful surroundings including unique amenities such as a fire pit with ample wood, a back porch overlooking the woods, and a path down to the river. The stay itself was great: a nice living room and dining area plenty of seating, washer and dryer in unit, and two bathrooms being a plus with a larger group! Overall it made for a great trip to the Northwoods and I would recommend Matt for his friendliness and responsiveness as a host!

We loved our stay on Turtle Lake at Lindsey’s place. We had 4 adults and 2 dogs. It was exactly like the photos and descriptions, spotlessly clean kitchen and bathrooms with cozy bedrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a number of meals. The grill had extra propane just in case. We took advantage of renting their brand new pontoon and enjoyed sunsets on the lake. The property was private and perfect for relaxing with our pups. All of the toiletries, soap, garbage bags, and cleaning supplies were well stocked which made it so easy to enjoy a week long stay without having to run to the store. We will definitely be back and hope to enjoy their home again next year! Thank you Lindsey & Jamie!

What a cute cabin right on little saint. We used the cabin as our snowmobiling home base and it was perfect. Easy to get right on little saint and the trail from the back of the property. Plenty of parking for the trailer. Absolutely would stay again, perfect trip.

We very much enjoyed our stay! The lake is beautiful. Our group enjoyed kayaking and spending time around the fire. The cabin is well stocked and very comfortable for 6 people. Jessie is very responsive and gave us tips about our trip up to the cabin. We even heard and saw the loons on the lake! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to spend some time on a lake!
