We had an incredible experience staying at Billy's property! From the moment we arrived, Billy was an outstanding host, making sure everything was perfectly in place and ready for our arrival. The house was spacious and easily accommodated all 6 of us with plenty of room to spare. One of the highlights of our stay was being greeted with freshly baked blueberry muffins – a thoughtful and delicious touch that made us feel right at home. The house had all the amenities we needed, making it feel just like our own home. We particularly enjoyed the private access to the property and the hot tub, which was a great way to unwind after a day of exploring. The location was amazing and the views were spectacular. This home was exactly what it said on the tin. We were all blown away by it and had beautiful weather to make the most of the outdoor area. The only thing we did notice was that there wasn’t enough wine glasses & champagne flutes. Not ideal when there was 8 women so we had to use half pint glasses. We could have also done with more dishwasher tablets to last the stay. Apart from that it was perfect. Thank you.

We had a great time at Canny Brow Barn. Everything you could possible think of or need for your stay, Ian and Anne-Marie had thought about, from a cocktail shaker to cleaning products to games. Would highly recommend!

Lovely little cabin in the country of Yorkshire, close to Dalby forest. The cabin comes equipped with everything you would need. The highlight is the hot tub. If you turn off the fairy lights, the stars are visible through the sky. Perfect area to stay as its in between towns and not too far of a drive for shops etc but still out of the way to be peaceful. The cabin is at the back of a property, which isn't too far away so not as private as I initially anticipated, however with that being said it's a lovely place to stay and I would recommend ☺️

We had a wonderful 6 days in this beautiful and charming cottage. It’s well kitted out, clean, has stunning views and is full of character. It’s easy to find. It’s Quiet. The hot tub was an excellent addition and in a perfect spot. The only downside was that it was quite a drive into the north/west lakes but we did know that and expected it to be the case before we arrived. There’s lots of lovely nearby walks too. I’d definitely recommend. You will not be disappointed, it’s a lovely place to stay.

This house was absolutely stunning. It was well worth the money we paid. We had 12 guests for a Hen Do and we had plenty of room. The hot tub was wonderful and warm, even if February. The view was stunning as were the rooms. Each room was beautifully decorated, including a stunning shower and bath. Hosts communicated clearly and responded quickly when I had questions. Would definitely return and recommend!

What a perfect place to stay with all of the family from 11 months to 80+yrs of age. Accessibility for my mum was excellent with walk in showers and sofa chairs easy to get in and out of. A travel cot and high chair provided for the youngest member of the family. A dishwasher including the tablets along with a fully equipped kitchen, plastic glasses for use in the hot tub ideal with a glass of wine or too. Our two dogs enjoyed lots of walks and it was brilliant that the garden was fully enclosed and safe for them too. Sarah the host was lovely nothing was too much trouble, little touches like jigsaws and board games where available and the barn had been decorated for Christmas to make you feelst home. The barn was in a beautiful location with lots of walks and a local pub ( booking is essential). If your into astronomy go to Grassholme Observatory I learnt so much and the dark skies are awesome. We had a lovely New Years break and would highly recommended Sunrise Barn for families.

Richard & Kim provided very informative written guides on anything one might need or like to do while staying at their lovely cottage. They looked after details in the cottage in a way that shows care and love. They even made us a handmade jam! It was our first visit to Yorkshire and they made it a memorable one. We had a comfortable stay that we enjoyed so much.

A huge thank you to Jackie, John and Cooper 🐶 for everything during our stay this week. The accommodation was perfect for us and felt like home from home. The little additional touches were most appreciated. The location was perfect for walking our dogs, getting a train, walking into Kendal or getting in / out of Kendal by car. We would love to come back when we are next up visiting family in Kendal.

The Hemmel was a really nice cottage to stay in. It's probably one of the best airbnb's we've been to. Kate was very nice and helpful. The photos don't do it justice as it's even better in the flesh. We were a family of 4 including a baby and it was super comfortable. The cottage is very private and peaceful. The lambs were out when we were there and we saw the red squirrel in garden each day. We'd would definitely return.

Such a beautiful cottage with amazing views, it definitely exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect, very quiet and peaceful and only a short drive to Carlisle for shops/restaurants. I’d definitely go back and recommend for a trip away in the lakes.

We loved this place, it was perfect for our six year olds, they loved the garden, the spacious rooms and it was a great location to base ourselves while we explored to NE - we will be back xx

This is a real gem of a place situated in the most beautiful surroundings . Fantastic walking straight from your door, bird song galore and so much more . Trish is a wonderful host , very welcoming and nothing seemed too much trouble . We were greeted with delicious homemade cake , fresh flowers and a basket of treats . I would highly recommend Trish's beautiful home and really hope to be back again one day so much more to explore . Thank you Trish for a wonderful time . Emma

Amazing overnight stay. Beautiful surroundings, the food In the pub was incredible. Especially the pies! Will be back again for sure. Hosts and everyone were so friendly, even being our 2 big dogs it was a great stay.

The iron chapel is a wonderful place to stay, full of character, and a lovely place to spend time with family. Lisa and Michael were great hosts, very quick to reply to any queries we had. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend the iron chapel. Andy & Sarah.

We loved the remoteness of the cottage, the peace & quiet. Loved the pool & hot tub which is a must if we don't stay coastal.You definitely need a car to access any shops as the nearest shop is 2.3 miles and this closes at 5. No pubs within walking distance and some pubs only opened certain days and opened at 6. However that's what makes the place attractive & peaceful. Lots of places to visit with 10 mile radius. Great walks and historical sites to see. Beautiful landscape. Cottage was very snug & comfortable.

I had a really great stay at Norma's place. Very spacious and the location is ideal, just a short walk from the village. Great for access to Kielder forest. Would recommend and would like to stay again when in the area.

We had a great stay at Whitbarrow. We have visited the resort before on many occasions. We had some minor issues in the accommodation which were swiftly resolved by Seasons staff. Kal and Anita were great to communicate with leading up to and during the stay also. Very responsive and helpful. Good facilities onsite too and helpful staff. Thank you

We loved our time here, surrounded by nature - and lovely isolated place for a reset. Hoping to come back at some point, possibly for a winter getaway. Everything was dead easy - parking, self check-in, location, lodge itself, just very easy and homely. Highly recommended.

West Cottage perfect for a family of 4 with 2 boys, looking to get out into the countryside and explore the area. Beautiful location, photos don’t do it justice, surrounded by green hills, sheep and with a brook below the garden. We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves which meant we could use the wave machine, hot tub and games room whenever we wanted after days out. Also enjoyed having our meals out on the lawn. Cottage had all we needed, comfy beds and kitchen well-equipped.

Excellent we enjoyed it very much. We definitely will be back. Highly recommended.
