The house is charming and cozy and located right next to Mjøsa. Here you can wake up listening to the waves from the lake and see beautiful sunsets at the evening. Mjøsa is Norway's larges lake with great fishing. The house have a 120 meter private shore with a beach in the end. Perfect for kids (see picture for equipment). Ellen was very responsive and helpful. In fact she replied immediately to any requests and questions. Her cabin was welcoming, homely and spotlessly clean. She had added lots of thoughtful touches candles were already in the holders, the fire pit already had logs in it, there were games both inside and outside and throws to keep us cosy! The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. The garden leading into the woods was absolutely beautiful and a real treat with seating in lots of areas. The view of the lake was breathtaking even in the fog and low cloud! In the garden we spotted lots of wildlife including a nuthatch on the bird table and a woodpecker in a nearby tree. Close to Oslo but we preferred to explore Hamar and Lillehamar. Highly recommended and we would love to return. Our only regret is the cabin is too far from our home to use regularly. Peaceful, welcoming, tranquil and comfortable! A perfect cabin retreat!

Nice spacious house for two people, good beds, beautiful veranda.Vidar welcomed us very friendly and took immediate action in the event of a leak in the bath.The lake was within walking distance, great for swimming, but unfortunately the weather wasn't good so we didn't do that.

Very nice cabin, located in the lake facing the Mjøsli field. Nice to walk, but you have to walk a bit along the road to get up to the top. Nice w sauna and two bathrooms. The kitchen has just about everything you could possibly need. Large, nice terrace and grass lawn for play and fun. Everything you need for cleaning is also available. We had a great time here and will be happy to come again 😀

The house and the place were both absolutely stunning. All the equipments are here, plenty of space in the common parts. We were a family of 10 and it always felt great ! Outdoors facilities are great, using the SPA, the brasero with such a beautiful view on the lake was just spot on. Special mention to Anpan. He’s been the best host I never had ! Available all day long, very patient and lots of advice. Don’t look any further and plan your holidays here. I’d rate it 6 out of 5. Thanks again
