Recently converted, the Owlery is the perfect self-catered rural escape for couples. With its double height vaulted ceiling and full height double aspect windows the open plan kitchen living diner offers a light and airy space to unwind and enjoy the view of surrounding fields. Crumbleclive is a beautifully restored 100 year old cabin set within the dramatic backdrop of Crunkly Ghyll. It was originally the ‘Gun Room’ for the local estate in the 1890s! The Cabin has a balcony overlooking the gorge with the River Esk rapids visible at the bottom. Surrounded by Oak trees you will feel amongst the treetops as birds gather on the branches around you and fly through the gorge below. Our Mini Pod is situated near the coastline & the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors, Between Whitby & Scarborough. Driving to either is a breeze, Scarborough is about 15 mins away & Whitby about the same. Our site is a few minutes away from the Old Scarborough to Whitby Railway line ( also known as the Cinder track ) a walker & bike friendly trail. The Cleveland Way also in walking distance.
