Stayed with my adult daughter and my maltese terrier fifi from Thursday to Sunday last week .. two min walk to old town which was buzzing with bars , pubs n restaurants .. lots dog friendly too .. the bakery 2 shops away from the gallery was to die for .. Jane kindly left a bottle of wine , milk and croissants which was such a nice touch .. we had beautiful weather too which was a bonus !! Thankyou Jane for a truley wonderful stay in your gallery garden flat we loved it and the lil courtyard garden was lovely in the mornings having coffee outside .. honestly too many positives to mention !! We stayed here for 2 nights and Jane was the perfect host. She was responsive and helpful and as we were celebrating an occasion she helped make our stay feel special. The flat is in the old town located above a cute cafe (perfect for breakfast!) and accessed from the rear down quiet road. It is close to shops and the sea so the location is great. The rooms inside are spacious and the bath towels luxuriously soft and fluffy.

Lovely apartment close to St Leonard's station. The bed is something to boast about, it's amazing for both size and comfort! The living room is cozy and spacious, and the garden is very peaceful. The shower is great and big enough for a couple to shower together whilst using both the overhead and the shower handle. The neighbourhood is quiet and the walk to Hastings town centre is both lovely by the coast and through the green areas. Would definitely recommend!

Gorgeous and generous accommodation in Old Hastings, central to great restaurants, independent shops, the beach, and old fishing quarter. The accommodation is beautifully decorated with interesting objects, and feels like home from home. The thoughtful details and numerous provisions made for a great and happy stay. Our thanks to the hosts for the ease or communication and plentiful suggestions and, of course, for the wonderful 'home'. We hope to be back!

An absolute gem of an Airbnb! Even better than the photos - the views from the flat are just so stunning and peaceful. And the balcony offered a lovely sun trap with views to the sea from one side. Everything was comfortable and homely and the 30 second walk to the beach was perfect. Rachel was really friendly and helpful and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. I will definitely go back the first chance I get! Thank you ☺️

We really enjoyed our stay. Julia has a lovely home and the photos don’t do it justice. Easy check-in instructions. Julia was quick to answer a query I had before our stay. Great location and a nice walk down to the Old Town. Would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely four night stay with our kids. The gardens were very special and we especially enjoyed the outside BBQ and dining space. The house is in a wonderful setting - very peaceful and right next to the train station to Rye and Hastings (ideal if you don't love country roads).

Property was immaculate, great location and had everything we could possibly need. Adam is a 5-star host, perfect communication throughout. Could not recommend enough! Thank you for having us!

We had a wonderful (albeit brief) stay at Jane’s beautiful home! The space was spotless, stylish, and so comfortable—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The pool was a real highlight, and we’re already looking forward to coming back and making the most of it next time. Unfortunately, we had to leave earlier than planned due to personal reasons, but Jane was incredibly understanding and kind about our situation. She was a fantastic host throughout—thoughtful, responsive, and welcoming. A special thank you for the delicious-looking marmalade waiting for us on arrival! We can’t wait to enjoy it at breakfast. Highly recommend Jane’s place for anyone looking for a peaceful and lovely escape. We hope to return soon!

From the moment we stepped inside River House Rye we knew that we had chosen he right place ! A real home from home, but with a unique design that we simply wouldn't dare to do ... such a great place to stay and so easy to explore Rye without moving the car off the very spacious drive ! Globe pub very close by, provided ideal location to eat & refresh as did other places that Helen recommended. Even a little drizzle couldn't spoil our visit .... simply fantastic! We will definitely return 🫶

A great Airbnb in Hastings - close to the rest of town, large and with excellent ameneities. The bedrooms were large with comfortable beds, the shower I used was one of the best I've ever used, and the area was fairly quiet after about 10/11pm. An excellent choice.

What a little gem. So homely. Lots of thoughtful bits. Like milk bread and butter in the fridge. Shampoo and shower gel. Lots of lovely little touches to make you feel welcome. Such a lovely location too. Communication was excellent. Would highly recommend a stay at this cosy little retreat next to the sea.

We had such a lovely stay in this very central and cosy flat. Really nicely decorated with all the essentials for cooking. A very generous welcome basket. Great shower and really comfy bed with a cute terrace just outside the bedroom.

We had a lovely stay at this lovely 2-bedroom apartment overlooking the sea. The photos were accurate and the view was just as stunning in person. As a family of four, we really appreciated the space—the apartment was very clean, comfortable, and had plenty of room for everyone to relax. The hosts were responsive and helpful, always quick to reply to any messages. Although the weather wasn’t great during our visit, it didn’t take away from the overall experience—if anything, it’s a good excuse to come back and enjoy it again in better weather!

Anna's apartment in Hastings truly exceeded our expectations! It was immaculately clean, and it was great to see that the pictures perfectly matched reality. The views were phenomenal, and being able to walk to everything made our trip so easy and enjoyable. Anna was an exceptional host – very responsive and made sure we felt completely at home. We are quite particular about where we stay when travelling around, and I’ve got to say, this property is a superb example as to how “AirBnB” should be done! It’s to an exceptional standard , with much thought and attention to detail into the essentials and nice to haves a guest may require. The fit out is superb, the location is as equally superb. Immaculate throughout, something we look for when booking a property to stay at. All in all, a superb stay, great value for money and we will most definitely be back again. I had the most wonderful stay in Carla’s beautiful annexe. The location is incredible. Being able to sit at the end of the garden in the mornings watching the sea was so wonderful. It was just so peaceful and tranquil and was exactly what I needed! Plus you can be on the beach in 2 mins. The Annexe itself was absolutely perfect, spotlessly clean and no details had been overlooked. Really comfy sofa and bed and beautifully furnished. Carla was a wonderful host and nothing was too much trouble. All in all this was a perfect stay for a short break away from the business of life. I would definitely return when I am looking for some time to myself. Thank you so much Carla for your hospitality 🙏🏻🥰
