A great find in a great location. If you’re after direct access to the beach and a short drive ( or walk for the energetic ) to a number of great pubs and restaurants then this is the place. The coffee hut round the corner was perfect for refreshments and snacks and Garden is a beautiful sun trap. Loved the games and ping pong, decor is cozy and stylish. Thanks Mark for all the comms and local tips much appreciated. Chas.

Kimberley’s flat was a beautiful place to relax on the south coast with sea views. The decor is exceptional and full of character which made the stay even more enjoyable and the kitchen and bathroom are both well equipped. She was extremely responsive and helpful and was a fantastic host!

An incredible stay in a beautiful apartment. The view across to the sea was spellbinding and you can watch the sunset with a lovely glass of wine. The flat has everything you could possibly need and is thoughtful as well as top quality. The coffee machine was outstanding. The shower was perfect, the beds comfortable and there was a very clever and easy way of accessing the flat. St. Leonards has so many incredible independent and interesting shops, fabulous restaurants, pubs, coffee shops and bars, as well as a market with beautiful things. Lots of art and vintage shops and within bus, train or healthy walk from Hastings with it's equally amazing shops, restaurants, pubs and coffee shops. So much to see and do and then to come home to a calm and beautiful apartment is just wonderful! Thank you so much for everything.

We had a truly wonderful retreat at the ÖÖD House the design of the house is incredible—being inside feels both cosy and luxurious, yet you’re completely immersed with nature. Watching the birds, ducks, and other wildlife so closely was such a special experience. Even though the weather wasn’t that great, it didn’t affect us at all. The layout of the house is very well thought out. The shower was fantastic, and the hot tub was absolutely perfect—hot and relaxing. We also had a lovely barbecue and spent time feeding the fish right from the deck. There were plenty of them, and they would come right up to be fed—it was surprisingly therapeutic and calming. Overall, this was a very unique and memorable stay. we enjoyed our time and would definitely love to return.

Amazing house!! So large!! 4-5 storeys including a basement. Viewing area at top of the house was great for others in my party, unfortunately due to my mobility issues, I was not able to get up there. Would definitely recommend, having a view over the sea! Wish we could have stayed longer!!

Sarah’s a fantastic host: friendly, helpful, happy to share information, super responsive and all in all out to make your stay a happy one. The flat is perfectly located to enjoy both St Leonards & Hastings. Its sea front location prevents it from being quiet but the view is superb. And the bedroom at the back is really peaceful. The bed is super comfy. Everything is clean and so well thought of. Lots of lovely details that makes really lovely to live in: eco soap, soft towels, crispy sheets, soothing colours, blankets to snuggle in etc. We loved the gorgeous natural light!

We had a lovely stay and couldn't fault anything. The welcome was very friendly and the setting was stunning with the most amazing sea view. Great accommodation and we enjoyed talking to John about his sculpture and the history of the area. Nothing was too much trouble and the room was very comfortable. It was a great base to explore a fascinating part of the English coastline. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend wholeheartedly. We will definitely revisit.

Lovely flat! Great location. Andrew was friendly and very helpful. Great communication with lots of tips from how find the flat, parking, to local restaurant recommendations, sports, etc. Andrew was always prompt in his response and keen to help. Hastings is great for vegan food, with lots of delicious options nearby or a short distance from the flat. Hastings is also the residence of Jazz singer and pianist Liane Carrol, who sings in a local restaurant not so far from the flat (do not miss it!). We loved it! Thank you, Andy!

Wrest Cottage is a great venue for a gathering. The cottage is very clean and nicely laid out. Two sitting rooms and two bathrooms helped a great deal for our group of seven. The beds were amazingly comfortable (thank goodness) and warm. We cooked a couple of meals in the kitchen and there was everything there that we needed. It seems every last detail had been thought through and there were helpful instructions throughout. Rye is a beautiful town and we were struck by how friendly and laid back the locals were. For bird watchers the the area is a dream - we were lucky to have an ornithologist in our midst who pointed out a huge variety of birds and we even saw an osprey hunting for fish. We lucked out with the weather - there was just one day of amazingly heavy thunderstorms otherwise it was dry, warm and often sunny. We went on a foraging trip from Blackshed Gallery in Robertsbridge which I can well recommend. Some of our group did Kite surfing as well.

A very cute flat full of vibes. Antique style furniture, french style posters, well decorated, quirky, comfy, clean. It is right in the heart of the old city, next to restaurants, pubs, shops and bars, and next to the seaside so seagulls. It is not exactly a quiet place to stay, but you are here because you have the city and sea on your doorstep, not because you want a quiet getaway. Parking is in a public car park in front of the sea. We had no trouble finding parking, but if you arrive in the morning/day it might be more tricky. Its not right outside the flat, so you may have to make a couple trips if you have a lot of luggage. We met Jane on the doorstep, her friendly nature shines through all communication. Good instructions for using the space, all easy to use. Nice welcome touches as well. An all around great stay.

What a lovely home! It was a great location. The house was just as described and the photographs accurate. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well. The kitchen was well equipped if you wanted to cook. The info. provided was helpful, and we were able to use it. We loved the fact it was pet friendly too. This place is so worth visiting. The cabin was fantastically clean, tidy and very modern. Kitchen had everything we needed - cooker, microwave, coffee machine etc and bathroom had a great shower. Stunning views of the lake and the outdoor seating area gave complete privacy and was a lovely spot to relax in nature. 15 minute walk to a wonderful and friendly pub which serves great food and beer. Would recommend to other guests.

We had a great stay at the house, it’s an amazing location (very central but also very peaceful)! The beds were super comfortable and cosy and the house has so much character, it’s like stepping back in time. Susie was very responsive and helpful at all stages and really made us feel welcome. The fire is amazing on a cold day and the garden is a lovely sun trap on a warm day!

I have been to St. Leonards before so I was familiar with the area of the flat which was perfect for the seafront and the bars and restaurants. The flat itself was wonderful, very clean and spacious and I loved the decor. It felt very homely which was exactly what I was looking for. Zed and wife couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, which made our visit even more pleasurable. If you are thinking of booking this place please don't hesitate you will not be disappointed I for one will be back.

We enjoyed a short stay in flat 2, which was cosy but had everything we needed. It was spotlessly clean, warm and quiet. The location is ideal, with the beach just across the road, and the town centre and other amenities not far away. John made us feel really welcome on arrival.

Our hostess Jo was very friendly and made us feel welcome. The view of the sea was incredible, and the house was clean and very charming with it’s different levels and details. There was also a great selection of movies and books, and the TV was perfect for relaxing. The only thing to note is that the stairs are quite steep. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had a fantastic stay over Christmas. On arrival we had Prosecco and chocolate which was a very thoughtful touch. Rebecca’s house is fun and quirky, it has a very well equipped kitchen, comfy beds with lovely clean linen and fluffy towels, there were even lots of fun board games. It is a beautiful location and we would love to go back in the summer.

The property was modern and extremely well supplied. Kitchen amenities were exceptional and lots of space in the living area. Lots of children’s games and books to occupy them. Large dining table to sit 8 comfortably. Beautiful view of the sea from the full window in the dining area. Outside the facilities were equally as good, dining table and seating, BBQ (and all items to use the BBQ). Very quiet spot but many interesting places a short drive away. This house exuded quality items throughout. Host was very helpful and instructions and information were detailed. Certainly would go back to this property in the future.

Beautiful house which opens up right onto the beach. The outside area is great and the view from the house are amazing. Really nice house inside as well.

I had a really wonderful 7 weeks and 4 days at Lisa and Lee's first floor apartment in St Leonards-on-Sea, overlooking Warrior Square Gardens, with a lovely sea view from the lounge and balcony. On arrival, Lisa and Lee warmly greeted me and showed me around. Everything was clean and tidy, beautifully decorated, with a very cozy and comfortable feel. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. The location was perfect, 5 minutes walk to the sea front. A very memorable stay and I'm definately looking forward to returning soon. Thank you both so much for being excellent hosts. Peter

Beautifully presented and thoughtfully refurbished property in an exclusive square in St Leonard’s. Nicky has a great eye for detail and interiors and has created a beautiful property in an ideal location local to Norman Street and Kings Road, the beachfront and the train station where trains to Brighton are frequent enough. Morning sunrise at the table looking out through the huge sash window in the lounge with a coffee was a real highlight. Nicky is a very helpful and responsive host always happy to support on all fronts. Thanks very much, highly recommend.

Stayed here for 3 days with my partner and we had such a lovely stay! Hosts went above and beyond to provide a space that felt like home and the space was so cosy and beautiful 😍 the view was stunning and just a relaxing way to escape from reality for a while. We really appreciated the little things like snacks / food / beverages available, as well as the easy to connect WiFi and Netflix availability. There are a lot of restaurants and bars around however we mostly just went to the gym / leisure centre and made use of the sauna and steam room 😂 highly recommended if you want an easy-going host and a peaceful retreat for you and your partner
