We would love to welcome you to stay in our peaceful and modern self-contained property set with 1.6 acres of meadow garden. The house has been designed to make the most of the natural light and surroundings. The property is adjacent to the main house, is completely detached, and is separated by a large courtyard ensuring guests have complete privacy. A perfect place to escape into nature, visit historic towns and villages, or base yourself to work remotely with easy access to central London.

Black Squirrel Barn is a converted 3 bed 2 bath barn. It is completely self contained so you have your privacy but I am close by to help if necessary. The barn is luxurious yet homely with cosy underfloor heating downstairs. Close by are two lovely pubs with fab food. You can also find a little post office within 5 mins walk. There are many countryside walks and cycle paths running from the house yet the A1M is minutes away. A PET CONSIDERED BY REQUEST ONLY BEFORE BOOKING (£20 per week)

The Ridgeway Lodge close to Ivinghoe Beacon

The Lodge is a separate building from the main house and has a private patio for relaxing in the sunshine or stargazing at night. The double doors from the patio, lead you into the main, open plan kitchen / living room / dining area. There is a sofa bed with large TV with immediate access to Netflix, iPlayer etc, and super fast WiFi. There is a downstairs loo. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and shower. It has all the amenities for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Relax in our cosy and bright self-contained cabin set in peaceful surroundings and countryside views with high speed internet (fibre). 10 minutes walk to the beautiful Stanborough Lakes and Park (photos provided in listing). Whilst it is in a secluded location off the A1, it is a 29 minutes train ride to London St Pancras International. Please give advance notice if baby cot is needed. Ideal for working professionals, a small family stay. Maximum of 2 adults and 2 children.

Local village amenities are just a short drive from the property with the nearest train station being only 10 minutes away. A sofa bed can be made up if required. Little Knoll Barn is a rustic, cosy, self catering accommodation, offering a king size bed & travel cot & or hi chair if required. For pets we provide a water bowl, dog towel & disposal bags. We are located close to the M1, A1, M25 and Luton Airport. We are also conveniently near Harpenden Train station with fast links into Kings Cross St Pancras and Eurostar. Its location makes it the ideal place to stay close to some local places of interest such as St Albans.
