The Snug was exactly what we were looking for! A beautiful house on an amazing piece of property in a fantastic location for exploring the Berkshires. The entire environment was so peaceful and serene. On the inside the house was clean, comfortable, inviting and had everything we needed. The floor to ceiling windows looking out into the wooded back yard were one of our favorite features of the house. On our last day of our stay we were lucky enough to see a family of deer make their way through the back yard. The wood fired hot tub was magical and well worth the wait to heat up. The hosts were informative, responsive, helpful and very nice. They genuinely cared about our stay. Thank you McCaela and Joe for sharing your lovely house with us, we can't wait to come back!

The cabin was amazing! Wifi was great, hot tub was nice. Other reviews noted the humidity/heat in the house, but we had no such issues on this rainy week. The only thing is that the GPS will bring you to the back entrance to the community, which is gated and you can't enter. Make sure you read their welcome instructions as this was noted! Overall a wonderfull stay and highly recommended!

We had such a delightful stay here. The photos don’t do it justice. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped, which we used extensively. When a couple of minor issues with the house popped up, Brian responded immediately. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

This was a weekend getaway for our anniversary. We were pleasantly surprised with the quiet and peaceful surroundings. Everything is exactly like the pictures. The neighbors had a large party and we did not hear a thing inside the cabin! It rained most of the days but we were very comfortable. If you love nature, you will love this place. Bring your hiking boots and your binoculars for bird watching. There are several ponds nearby for fishing and you may consider visiting the local wineries. Hope to come back again!

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay at this cabin. The views from the home and the surrounding area were amazing and we found ourselves just slowing down a lot on our drive there to take it all in. Our favorite parts were the hot tub which was so relaxing especially with the backdrop of nature behind us and the amazing kitchen where we cooked all of our meals each day. Most things were around 20 minutes out so it was a very stay at home stay so we really appreciated the effort they made at making the home the main attraction. The host was very communicate and helped solve a minor issue we had right away which was a great experience. Our least favorite part was having to leave! Overall we look forward to coming back again in the future to such a cozy home.

Alex’s home was a vintage design beauty! You could tell how much thought and detail he put into his home. The amenities were wonderful, including a gorgeous living room, great sound system, well-stocked kitchen, outdoor wood burning chimney, BBQ, and bucolic tree-surrounded hot tub (which we loved). But the best part was Alex himself. What a nice guy! He welcomed us at check-in with delicious freshly baked sourdough bread and homemade ginger cookies later in our stay. He also gave us fantastic advice on things to do in the area. Overall, you’ll love this home nestled in the CT woods!

My family and dog really enjoyed the cozy cabin. The yard is fun. While the stairs are challenging as described... it was also fun. While small, it has everything you need. as mentioned in other reviews, it is pretty close to the road. Our check-in with Lois was smooth and all the information we needed. it was great being able to walk over to the trail. Thank you so much.

What more could you want? This quaint cabin situated in the woods offers privacy, unique architecture, comfort, and peace. It’s equipped with everything you could possibly need, and the hosts were truly some of the most responsive and kind people I have ever interacted with. They truly went above and beyond for us. We stayed with a toddler and two dogs, and they all loved the property and the cabin. We will most definitely be back!

Triggers cabin was what we needed…little to no cell reception but it was so nice being able to disconnect especially for the kids. My husband has a great time fishing in the pond, the kids were able to run around, seeing all the wildlife especially the otter playing in the pond (so amazing!!). If you are looking for a relaxing getaway…this is by far the spot to go! Carol was friendly and showed us to where the cabin was. She was responsive when we needed her.

If you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing environment, this place was perfect. Between the hammock, the soaking tub, and the view of the water - especially from the gorgeous and cozy sunroom - it was exactly what I needed. Also, WiFi signal was actually pretty decent!

Beautiful property. Very spacious. We could hear all the wildlife every morning. Sitting on the porch swings was our favorite. The house is so nice and secluded. Mary was very responsive when we had questions. Definitely would stay again. Wonderful stay!

We had such a great time staying at Bob’s cabin! The location and view are seriously stunning, especially since we got to catch the fall foliage at its peak. I spent hours just hanging out on the screened-in porch, taking it all in. We always travel with our dogs, so it was awesome to find a place that’s dog-friendly. The cabin was super clean, cozy, and had a nice stash of board games—we ended up playing Scrabble every night! The drive up was beautiful, but make sure to follow Bob’s directions because Google Maps told us to make a wrong left in the neighborhood, which was a bit tricky since we arrived after dark. Bob was super responsive and gave us some great local tips. All in all, we loved it and will definitely be booking again!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy, charming cabin! It’s the perfect place to unplug and unwind. Nestled in a peaceful, quiet setting, the cabin feels like a true retreat from everyday life. We especially enjoyed the screened-in porch for morning coffee and evening chats. The nearby waterfalls (a 30–40 minute walk or 10-minute drive) were a wonderful way to enjoy the area’s natural beauty. The two-person soaking tub was a highlight—so relaxing after a hike! The cabin is thoughtfully equipped with a small but functional kitchen, which made it easy to prepare simple meals. We also appreciated the high-quality linens and comfortable bed—such a nice touch that made our stay feel special. While it’s ideal for unplugging, there is Wi-Fi if you need it. There are also some cute towns nearby, full of antique shops and local charm. It was the perfect blend of nature, comfort, and low-key exploration. We’re already dreaming of our next visit!

Marilyn’s place was great! Very peaceful. Lake access was awesome. Warm neighborhood. The kitchen was a bit tricky to navigate, but Marilyn had detailed instructions. We enjoyed our stay. I would recommend Marilyn’s place.

We loved staying at Lucy’s. It’s one of those places that has everything you need, from extra blankets, lots of silverware, to high quality WiFi. And the surrounding area is beautiful.

I booked this Airbnb for a crew working on a nearby project. John’s instructions included lack of cell service, remote location, darkness and stairs outside, a home filled with antiques …. all worrisome to me handing this place over to people I didn’t know. Each one told me it was perfect, and each for a different reason! One loved the furnishings, one loved the rural feel, one loved the architecture … everyone felt it was a special treat at the end of long days of physical labor. Great experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Alex's cabin. The location was secluded yet still within a short drive to Lenox. The cabin sits at the end of a gravel road and is surrounded by trees. The vibe was rustic and the house was comfortable for our party of four. We found the house clean and stocked with everything we needed. Alex was a very communicative host. We hope to return again.

We spent a long weekend at Dennis’ place and it was nothing short of amazing. Our aim was to relax and enjoy the lake, and we did just that. The house was exactly as described, matched and exceeded our expectations; furnished and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. If we’re back in CT, we won’t hesitate to book the house again!
