The apartment itself is in the basement of an old Stickerhaus, that is an embroiderer house where once the famous embroidery of the region have been manufactured. We guarantee leisurely days in an unconventional place.

Die Wohnung befindet sich im Zentrum von Goldach. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Postautohaltestelle, Pizzerias, Restaurants sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Hausnummer ist 53 und nicht 56, leider kann ich den Fehler nicht beheben solange Buchungen vorliegen (was ja auch nicht schlecht ist :)). St. Gallen, das Appenzellerland und die schöne Bodenseeregion sind sehr gut zu erreichen. Im ersten Stock befindet sich eine weitere airbnb Wohnung, auch ideal für Gruppen von 10 - 12 Personen.

Unser Haus steht am Rande des Dorfzentrums. Eine grosse alte Birke ist das Wahrzeichen in unserem Garten. Das stattliche Holzhaus wurde vor 140 Jahren im Biedermeierstil erbaut und ist in all den Jahren nur wenig verändert worden. Es widerspiegelt noch heute eine vorausblickende und weltoffene Generation. Ganz in diesem Sinne heissen wir Gäste aus nah und fern willkommen.

I really enjoyed my stay with Johannes and his family. he and his wife are so kind. I was invited to eat with them, Johannes explored the city with me (and once with his children) and the family and I visited the community garden. He knows a lot about the city and will tell you so much, basically I got an exclusive city tour. it's not the typical sperated Airbnb where you barely see the host, you will have a room in a flat. I prefer that kind of traveling (specially with hosts like them). Communication is super easy, Johannes is very responsive.

This was a nice Airbnb. Sandeep was very accommodating when we arrived late. It is a private room in an apartment, but we were able to use the kitchen and bathroom. This was a good spot for the area!

My stay with Pia was very pleasant! The apartment is amazing, exactly as described and showed in the photos; very clean, with lots of natural light and organized. The location was also great, there are supermarkets at walking distance, a football field and a forest! Also, as a student, having a bus stop right in front of the building helped a lot to get at the university on time. In addition to that, Pia was absolutely a great host, she was always very responsive, polite and easy to contact. Gave me some tips about traveling and always helped me when needed! Not only that, but she showed and cooked some Swiss dishes with me, and helped me to improve my German! Definitely recommend staying there, I would certainly come back.

Tiche,krasne,vidiecke,dedinske pokojne prostredie. Priska bola velmi priatelska,ustretova,rychlo reagovala na spravy a otazky. Cesta na vlakovu stanicu trvala cca 10 min,mestecko ma dobru lokalitu pre vylety v Appenzell. Izba bola mensia, ale plne postacujuca na pobyt.
