Vacation rentals with lake access in Southern France

Beautiful place!! Can’t beat the location. If you’re looking for a quiet spot to rest, the road in front of the house is a bit loud, but besides that, our stay was fantastic

We met Claire who welcomed us with kindness and kindness. The house as well as the garden is beautiful, everything is very clean! We were able to enjoy Gastes and its surroundings on foot and by bike as well as the lake! A real happiness.... I would definitely recommend Claire and Alex's house

We stayed there in the winter to celebrate New Year's Eve with the family. The large play room was great for the kids who played little outside. The house is well-equipped, and the bedding is comfortable. We enjoy spending time in front of the stove. Get up in the morning with this view, it's magic! Only downside, but it's inherent to the old house, the floors are noisy and the walls and floors are very thin. You can hear everything.

This house on the lake is an outstanding option for anyone wanting direct, private access to the lake. Huge private grounds and garden, quiet and beautiful. An absolute gem of a property.

The lockbox to get your keys is not located where Google maps says for directions. it took a some time to locate where to get the keys. it's in town across from the ferry. near the ice cream shop.

We read the previous reviews, saw the photos and chose Stephen’s house. Firstly the accommodation is a really good size. We had 4 adults using 3 b/rooms and there was plenty of space. It was really clean, tidy and we felt really at home. There was everything we needed, plus a supermarket round the corner and bar /restaurant were walking distance. 10/10👍The photos however don’t do justice to the wonderful views! Loved just looking over the lake to the snow capped mountains. Sitting outside was so tranquil. 10/10 because I can’t give 11/10 😁Excellent location for Rigi, Vitznau, Lucerne, Weggis, Stoos, Pilatus, Zug, all worth seeing. Rigi railway / Pilatus cable cars to the summit were our fave’s 10/10 🚠 We’d have stayed longer!🙁Stephen our host was great too. Excellent helpful information sent to us on arrival day. Were lucky enough to see him and got really helpful sightseeing advice. Communications were timely and helpful throughout our stay. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Brilliant apartment, in an amazing location close to both the lake and the beach. We stayed as a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children) and had a superb four days by the ocean. Many thanks for a wonderful stay.

Great location, beautiful view with direct lake access! We loved this apartment from the start and look forward to next time - we'll be back for sure. It's close to the village, there's a nice walk there. You can't hear the road that passes directly by the house. We can definitely recommend the apartment.

Perfect stay, adorable host very welcoming and caring. This small apartment is very cute and very clean located in the heart of the village, very accessible. Restaurants and bars nearby. Argegno is a very pretty picturesque village on Lake Como Loved our short stay!

She also helped me with the best tourist and beautiful places in the areas close to the residence. Also, all my friends ask me where this beautiful place is when they saw the pictures I took when I was at home. I will visit you again soon.

Beautiful location. Recommended for families

Such a lovely stay in this cozy, charming cottage in Nesso! The garden was perfect for lounging in the sun, and we lucked out with beautiful weather. Check-in was super smooth with clear instructions and videos. While we didn’t meet our host, she was very responsive and helpful with local tips. We were greeted with pastries and prosecco, which was such a nice touch! The house is small but great for a short stay. A/C and heating worked well. Bathroom is tiny and hot water ran out quickly, but manageable. There’s a washer (we didn’t use it) but no iron. Heads-up: the steps down to the house from the road are steep! Also, a few things from the listing (like chickens or a certain seating area) weren’t there. We used the bus to get to Como—it’s easy once you figure it out. Overall, our host was wonderful and we’d totally stay here again!

nice little accommodation, very well arranged. Towels were available. Everything was very clean. With 5 adults, the only small downside was that there was only one toilet in the bathroom.

We were received in a very friendly manner and even received active support in bringing in the luggage. Francesco was always available and gave us great tips. We felt very comfortable in this super clean, beautiful apartment with its own lake access and beautiful views. The kitchen was super equipped and had everything you needed. Our children (8&5 years) loved the small playground in front of the apartment and the free access to the lake at all times. Thank you Francesco for the great time in your apartment, we would definitely recommend it to everyone and will definitely come back next year!
