Guesthouse vacation rentals in Southern France

The directions Evelyne sent us in advance were very good and very helpful. The reception of Evelyne and her husband was very warm. Both speak very good English. The accommodation is equipped with everything you need to live. The homemade cake to welcome us was super delicious! The homemade jam was also very good. A superbly located terrace; even equipped with sun loungers. The tips for the area and the map were very helpful. There is also a very detailed folder with all the information (e.g. bus, garbage separation, etc.). We had to leave very early, but both said goodbye to us! We will be happy to come back.

Great value for the price Listing is as described. Spacious enough for 4 adults. The exterior is bucolic and pleasant, we were able to enjoy the heated pool. The owners are very nice and welcoming.

Beautiful location and truly felt 'at home' with Emmanuelle & Philippe and their family. The flowers were in bloom and the first thing I noticed was the amazing smell and fresh air. Emmanuelle & Philippe were very generous, brining fresh laid eggs and baguette my first morning and sharing some patisseries and handmade drink and bread on my last day. The view was also perfect, I 'worked from home' whilst there and internet was able to hold work in the cottage and for video and voice I took calls from the pool as internet was better there (and much better views than my normal office!). I loved all their animals and will miss Prunelle and Macintosh!!! I had brought earplugs in case rooster was loud but never needed them, black out blinds helped block both sun and noise, I slept very well all trip! Next time I will have a car as it was difficult to get to and from the different places by foot, there is buses but they run infrequently so I would recommend a car. Merci beaucoup!!!

A unique apartment in a beautiful setting, full of interesting furniture and ornaments. The hosts are wonderful. The pool was much appreciated on a hot day. Enjoyed our stay.

Thank you for such a lovely stay. Tim & Danielle were wonderful hosts. We struggled to find the place on arrival as arrived at 2am, but Tim met us out on the top of the road and assisted us to our stunning French accommodation. The house was beautiful and the scenery was stunning. It was very rural, with nearest shop a good 20 min drive. Tim was very accommodating and helpful. They had two very adorable dogs called Mojo & Sooty, who had our hearts. Would highly recommend this stay to anyone. Thank you again for a lovely stay

Such an amazing place. This was our second stay here and we will definitely be back in the future. Such a gorgeous pool to swim in and our little girl loved the jacuzzi and exploring the grounds. Lovely to be able to cook outside and relax in the outdoor living area in the evenings. Lots of lovely local villages to explore too. Vannina is a great host and very responsive to messages.

Very nice stay, the accommodation was as described and also very clean and well-equipped. Our hosts are welcoming and caring people. I would recommend it hesitation to anyone who wants to discover this beautiful region.

What an amazing place this is. If you are looking for something secluded and private but still easily accessible (with a car) this is the perfect place. The perfect location to explore the Catalan countryside, especially the Emporda region with its medieval towns. The Costa Brava is also super easy to get to with a car and you will enjoy getting home to this peaceful loft. Paula. the host, was super responsive and she gave us plenty of local recommendations on what to see and where to eat. We haven't planned anything before arrival but thanks to Paula's recommendations we managed to see a lot in the area and eat at the best places. The place is very modern and nicely, elegantly furnished. There was also a little fridge in the place with local cheeses and wines and other delicacies that we could buy at a very good price. One of the best AirBnB experiences so far.

The accommodation in Neudorf was very clean, cozy and exactly as described. Susanne is a very friendly and attentive host who made the stay pleasant. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back.

Wonderful stay at this stunning gite! Michel is such a lovely person, kind, thoughtful and he made our stay so special. The long range views are amazing, with olive and fruit trees surrounding the apartment, and the infinity pool is stunning. What made this stand out was the quality of everything in the apartment – every fixture, fitting, appliance and piece of décor/home furnishing is top quality. The pictures do not do this place justice, it’s even nicer inside than the photos show. Every detail has been thought of; very comfortable bed, big Smart TVs in bedroom and living area, electronic blinds on every window, high quality sliding doors out to the patio, extremely quiet and efficient air conditioning, amazing shower/bathroom and a new Weber grill outside. We cooked several nights and found everything we needed in the kitchen. The property feels very secluded but 5 mins drive into pretty Merindol. Best Air B&B we have EVER stayed in! Stay here, you will not regret it!

Beautiful night at Véronique's, beautiful and pleasant. Easy to access and secure! The veranda is beautiful... We didn't get a chance to use the pool but we plan to come back with our little girl to remedy that! Very well equipped with games available, I love it! See you very soon

J went above and beyond with helping me find local recommendations, instructions for transportation, & just all around help whenever I needed it. He was so quick to respond and even helped me to organize a private boat tour with oyster tasting, cheese, bread & wine. The house itself was small but great - it was a perfectly adequate size for just the two of us and was pristine. And just because I looked through reviews and photos and didn’t see a mention, there are blinds in the skylights so if you close those the place stays seriously dark, which is nice since we planned to sleep in both mornings!

We loved our stay in Lourdes’s guest house! She has it set up with a lot of privacy. Anything we needed we had. It’s beautifully decorated and cozy inside and out! Lourdes is so friendly and helpful whenever I had questions. A perfect stay as we explored the surrounding areas and cities! Would highly recommend!

We had a great stay at Katie and Fred’s place. Great hosts. They gave us good insight into the local culture in the town. Taught us where the locals sit in the afternoon to have a drink and watch the world go by. The pool was great and warm! I appreciated the extras (waffles, coffee, wine) for pre and post bike riding! It was super helpful being able to wash and hang our laundry after weeks of travelling. Even though the hosts live at this address our space was completely separate. Great few days, we loved our visit here!

A perfect little nest to spend a very pleasant time with charming hosts as we like them, accommodation full of charm and quiet, everything you need for us to come back, without being too far from all the amenities but without suffering, thank you to Isabelle and Pierre.

Nice accommodation in an old and very authentic country house. We have stayed several times with Bernadette who is a very friendly hostess. When the season allows, lunch and coffee breaks in the garden are highly appreciated. Nice location to explore the Blaye area and surroundings. We recommend it.

We had a great time, quiet and relaxing. The accommodation is conveniently located for visiting Switzerland about 1 hour/1/30 from major destinations (Bern, Neuchâtel, Lausanne, Montreux). The hosts are very attentive and offer delicious products.

We had a GREAT time at Jacques and Christine's ❤ Their human and warm welcome immediately made us feel comfortable. A big thank you to them! The accommodation is clean and super functional. The garden is full of a thousand small corners to rest, play and bathe in peace. My teenage daughter and I especially enjoyed the hammocks on the terrace overlooking the lush vegetation 😊 In the heights of the city, the climb is well worth the calm that is found when returning "home".

Very nice stay and very friendly host. The place is as described and very new with pleasant surroundings. The bicycles available for the guests is a nice plus and very convenient, we did a nive little trip along the coast. Definitely worth staying here!
