From the village, you can climb to the mountains of Brienno with the characteristic farms (which can also be visited on request) or, for good hikers, you can go further to reach Alpe Comana and Schignano, also passing through the "Scala Santa" on a very steep mule track. Every morning in front of the Church (from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. from Monday to Thursday) you can buy basic food items from Davide, a merchant who with his mobile store offers typical products of Lake Como and Lombard culture such as cold cuts, bread and cheese. You can also buy fruit and vegetables on Mondays from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and Fridays from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Just 10 minutes by car you can find well-stocked supermarkets. 2 km away towards Argegno you can eat in a renowned Lake Como restaurant called "Il crotto dei Platani" with veranda and garden on the lake.
