House vacation rentals in Southampton

Fabulous home for family’s, especially great for younger children and babies. Couldn’t fault the home or garden, even the pool was warm enough for the kids.

Very homely and very well stocked caravan. Nice and quiet when we stayed. Parking space at the side big enough for 2 cars. Samantha was very helpful and very responsive to messages. Activity passes included making this a very reasonably priced place to stay.

Definitely would revisit. Great location, especially for my parents who are limited in how far they can walk before needing a breather. Place was cosy for 6 of us, but never too much under each other's feet. Evenings, all warm and cosy especially with the fire.

I can't thank Carolyn enough, after finding out I was surprising my 12 year old son to a birthday getaway birthdays banners and signs plus sweets etc all put out for when we arrived! above and beyond for us. Carolyn was very responsive, informative and so kind. wonderful localaton, amenities etc. caravan was like home to home, well equipped and very clean. thank you again! highly recommend! 5🌟😁

Stayed at Helen's holiday home near the sea for a week - I could have stayed longer! Perfect location, both in terms of the New Forest (walkable distance to the beach/sea and not far from other local attractions) and location in the caravan park itself (two minutes one way is a good sized playground my five year old happily made lots of use of, two minutes the other way you are at reception, pool (again, used plenty), restaurant, etc). The home was plenty big enough for the three of us, its comfortable, has everything you might need (sharp knives in the kitchen - unheard of in a rental!) and a spacious deck out front (we didn't unfortunately make use of the deck as although sunny our stay was early in the season so quite windy). Helen was really helpful before our stay and was quick enough to answer any questions I had. I would happily recommend Helen's home (and the site as a whole) and am hoping she will allow us to come stay again sometime.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Nina’s house in Southbourne, and we can't recommend it enough! The house itself was fantastic—spacious, well-equipped, and perfect for our large group. The location was ideal, allowing us to easily explore the beautiful beaches. We thoroughly enjoyed using the facilities at the house, which added to our overall experience. Whether it was soaking in the hot tub or cooking in the well-stocked kitchen, everything was just right for our getaway. Nina, our host, was exceptional. She was responsive, polite, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay, ensuring we had everything we needed. Her attention to detail truly enhanced our experience. Overall, this was the perfect getaway, and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Nina, for being such a wonderful host!

We really enjoyed our stay. We booked for two nights and it felt really homely and comfortable. Fiona was responsive right from the get go and was a really friendly host. She even asked if we needed a highchair and baby gate, which was a really kind to offer travelling with a toddler. My daughter also really enjoyed playing on the children’s playground and the surrounding areas were beautiful. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here and would happily stay again if we were in the area. Thank you!

My family and I have just returned from a 4 night stay at The Oaks and we all wished we could have stayed longer. The house is well equipped, clean and tidy. There was plenty of room for 7 adults and 1 infant. The bedrooms were comfortable with fresh linen. I particularly booked this accommodation for the outside pool and this didn't disappoint. A perfect size pool for us and we enjoyed sitting around the garden and pool area. Beautiful Sobo beach is walking distance from the house and there are many good places to eat and drink nearby. We enjoyed a birthday celebration lunch at The Captains club restaurant which we would highly recommend, great food and attentive staff. A big thank you to Maggie And Peter for a great airbnb property.

Really enjoyed our stay, sadly I can't comment on this property itself as it was unavailable when we booked but Nina was very helpful and managed to accommodate us in a very similar property nearby which was clean, spacious and well-equipped, meaning we didn't have to change our plans. great space and in a good location good value for the money.

The house has the most amazing design and definitely the "wow" factor upstairs. Only comments are that hooks in the bathrooms would be useful (no where to hang towels) & that one of the bulbs in the chandelier wasn't working so spoilt the effect. Overall ... the location to transport links and the design of the house were great and would definitely book again. Grandeur Property have a great response time to messages.

We wanted somewhere to stay for a large group with a decent social space, this fitted the criteria well and was good value for money. Host was responsive and when we couldn't find the TV remote it was brought straight over to us.

nice clean house, easy checkin

Just returned from a family stay for a couple of nights at the venue. From the outset, the host was incredibly responsive and attentive. We were pleased to find the venue clean and spacious, with thoughtful touches like dinner plates and cutlery laid out for all of us, and even a high chair already set up for our little one. The bed was comfortable and clean, ensuring a good night's sleep. During our stay, our little one unfortunately became unwell, but the host's kindness and helpfulness in their responses were truly appreciated and made a difficult situation much easier to manage. Regarding the occasional footsteps from the property above, which other reviewers have mentioned, we did notice them at times. However, for the vast majority of our stay, it was exactly what you'd expect in a split property and didn't bother us at all. On the one occasion it became a little noisy, a quick message to the host resulted in an immediate resolution. Great host, lovely stay. Thanks!

Fabulous stay and even when WE made a mistake with our leaving day, they were extremely accommodating and understanding. Apologies one again and thank you for everything. Would definitely like to return as a lovely property.
