Our second visit here, and will likely come back. Astrid is a great host and the stables are a lovely little space to stay with beautiful surroundings and a great location within the New Forest.

Up there with the best. Lovely place, as others have said the photos don't do it justice. More importantly for us it had loads of outdoors to explore and we enjoyed the wide range of bird calls at dawn and dusk

Stayed here for my 50th birthday for a girly weekend away. Beautiful little cottage with beautiful gardens surrounding the property. 5 star hosts. Very friendly and very informative. Obvious how much they love what they do. We had great fun in the games room. And the hot tub was a lovely treat and a well needed relaxation after we walked into Burley village and back. The food hamper was amazing with everything we needed or could want. Local supermarket not far away either. Lovely gift 🎁 from the hosts on arrival a bottle of wine and box of choccies. Yummy. Thank you very much. And finally getting to cuddle a 9 week old Bengal kitten who belonged to our hosts has to be the highlight of our weekend. He was beautiful and we nicknamed him Burley. Wish I could have taken him home. Highly recommend this beautiful little cottage and its amazing hosts. Thank you ladies I had an awesome 50th birthday 🎈 xxx

We took our 19 month twin girls on their first holiday, and the Piggery did not disappoint. We wanted a place with no stairs so it was a good find, the accommodation was great, with probably the most comfortable bed my wife and I have every had away from home, we couldn't believe it! the girls had their own room which was large enough for a single bed and the two travel cots. Kitchen had everything we needed, toilet and shower room was more than adequate for our needs. The best part of the stay were the sheep, our girls absolutely loved saying hi in the morning and bye at night, the sheep were friendly and the girls loved them so much I may need to get some of my own 😲. The instructions were spot on, easy to get in and out, plenty of storage in a locked barn for the roof box and buggy. The location is great, very peaceful, lovely walks, 10 minutes to Lymington, 30 minutes to Southampton. we got the ferry from Lymington to the Isle of Wight. Highly recommend this stay.

We had an amazing stay at Ashley’s cottage. The kitchen/living area is absolutely beautiful and suited us as a group of friends when doing breakfast/lunch etc. Our favourite bit of the property has to be the outside area. Having an outdoor shower/toilet, hot tub, kitchen area and bbq just topped off our weekend and we spent most of our time outdoors. A few outdoor games were left in the garden and it gave a good few hours of entertainment for us too! Ashley was super inviting and was very clear with check in instructions etc. The house felt very safe & secure and we all got very good night sleep from comfortable beds. We would love to come back again next year and for years after this!! A really lovely place!

This was our second time staying and we loved it as much as the first time. The place is so peaceful and cosy. Jane was very responsive and helpful. Looking forward to booking another stay in the future!

A perfect find for a relaxing weekend with friends. This place was spotless, peaceful, spacious, filled with everything you could possibly need, and in a perfect location. We really appreciated the instructions written throughout the house, it meant there was no room for confusion and we didn't have a reason to message the host all weekend as they'd covered everything. We will absolutely be coming back.

My first time booking an Airbnb and was a wonderful experience, everything was so seamless and stress free. Chrissy was always so attentive to make sure we were okay and to contact her if we needed and also more than happy to leave us to our holiday if preferred. Spotless and clean premises whilst also feeling like a home away from home. Couldn’t fault anything. Would always recommend to people looking for a relaxing getaway. Thank you so much again :)

Lovely little cottage. Really cosy and plenty of space. Great pubs nearby all in walking distance, and some lovely walks too. Great place to take the dogs! Thank you for such a lovely break!

Absolutely beautiful little cottage. Stunning location and extremely comfortable. The towels, beds and bedding are dreamy, the little soaps left were gorgeous and the dog towel, bowls and treats were a really thoughtful addition. In all, we had an absolutely wonderful stay and simply did not want to leave.

Lovely spacious, well equipped house, that catered perfectly for our group of 7, including an 80year and 3 dogs! Some nice thoughtful extras including welcome gifts, toiletries, games & books. Fabulous location, directly opposite the New Forest, 2 min drive into town for shopping, bike hire & train station. Garden is lovely, with many feathered visitors & is secure for the dogs. Responsive owners. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would highly recommend this house.

This is a very lovely cottage in a wonderful location. It is fab to be able to walk out the door and be with the New Forest Ponies in 2 minutes! Located near lots of New Forest favourite places and a really lovely, comfortable, well equipped cottage to base at. We had a lovely trip and I would definitely visit again.

We had a great stay, a perfect long weekend. We’ve stayed in Lyndhurst a few times and the cottage was in a perfect location: 3 minute walk to the Main Street and can walk from the house into the new forest easily. We had 2 dogs with us and the garden was great for them and mostly enclosed (gate at the front where medium-large dogs couldn’t get through). Would stay again!

Bluebell Cottage was an excellent central location for exploring the New Forest, an area neither my friend had visited before. You can venture out on foot and quickly be in forest or open common land and experience the novelty of roaming ponies and foals. I recommend The Forestry Commission free App of walks ranging from 1-7 mile circular walks. On the last day I discovered Lyndhurst Museum had a reasonably priced map of walking trails and numbered cycle points. I could’ve done with this the day I went awry in the forest on foot and had no mobile signal to ascertain where I was! It all ended well thankfully. We were self catering mostly and had everything we needed. We enjoyed a couple of meals out in Lyndhurst. There is a wide international choice. Lots of pubs on the 8 mile Lyndhurst Parish Walk and short cuts for walkers not able to quite walk the distance. We loved the garden, breakfast in the back and evening drinks at the front soaking up the last of the days rays.

Wonderful place / host, exactly as the photos. Zoe was very responsive and helpful and we would definitely stay again!

Totally exceeded our expectations! Beautiful accommodation in a perfect setting. James was instantly and reassuringly responsive to the few queries we had on arrival which would have been easily answered had we read the Welcome Pack! We really can't thank James & Harriet enough for thinking about the detail and for pre-empting every need. We'll most certainly return!

We had a lovely stay and Sumaiya & Richard were great hosts. Lovely little touches for the Christmas period & lovely treats for us when we arrived. The barn was really comfortable & cosy, with everything we needed for a relaxing break. It was very rainy when we were there but with all the books & games we had plenty to do. Thank you!

Beautiful place, the pictures don’t do it justice, we felt right at home & my daughter loved it. The garden is massive, and great fun. Sarah has thought of everything with her instructions, and suggestions, my only regret is that we didn’t book a longer stay.

We had a great time at Patricia’s place. It’s a great, peaceful location. The house is very warm and welcoming and extremely well stocked. Patricia is a fantastic host who left us cookies, fruits and even some basic groceries. Upon knowing that it was our daughter’s birthday, she even kept gifts and a card for her, how sweet! We were a family of 5 and were very comfortable. We were able to make day trips to Isle of Wight, Portsmouth and Southampton! We cannot recommend enough about this beautiful airbnb and its host. Just bear in mind, parking outside the Airbnb is very limited, but there is plenty of parking within a few mins walk.

A great place to stay. Walking distance to markets, transportation and restaurants. The garden in the back was a beautiful peaceful place to sit and relax after exploring all day. The home has all you need to be comfortable and the kitchen is equipped to make a nice meal if you want to eat in.

We spent a wonderful 4 months at this beautiful cottage while our home was being repaired due to flooding. It has been a lovely place to live – I love how it has been decorated and furnished, and will very much miss the amazing bath! It’s a great location; you feel like you’re in the countryside while also having easy access to the local amenities. The local supermarket is a short 2 minute drive and you can be in the heart of the New Forest within 15 mins. It has a lovely big garden with a slide and swing set, which our 3 year old son has very much enjoyed. We’ve had no problem at all with the stairs and our son navigates them confidently, shuffling down on his bum. We’ve had great communication from the owner and checked in with ease. While I’m excited to return home, I’m also a little sad to leave the cottage and will remember our time here fondly.

A stunning cottage in a beautiful, peaceful location. The cottage had everything we needed - it’s well equipped, clean and spacious with some lovely little extras which were much appreciated. Couldn’t have asked for a better location - in the heart of the New Forest with so many amazing activities and places to visit on your doorstep. Perfect for a family holiday. Nicky’s a very friendly and welcoming host and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed and to let us know she was available if we needed anything else. We highly recommend staying in this cottage and would absolutely love to come back!

Great flat on Lyndhurst high street. Couldn't be more central. Supermarket, bike hire, pubs, restaurants all (literally) on the doorstep. Plus the beautiful New Forest, moments away.
