Such a beautiful place to stay...the views are stunning as is the sunrise every morning...so memorable. Maggie was an exemplary host from booking to check-out and during my 5 week stay made sure that I was comfortable and checked-in with me without being intrusive. It's perfectly situated to explore the area and has wonderful walks from the front door. The home is very clean, comfortable and has everything needed for a long stay. Thankyou, Maggie!

Beautiful cosy barn conversion - with cold & windy temperatures outside the place was still toasty. Fabulous thick lined curtains kept the drafts out. A bath only, no shower. Didn’t bother us as water super hot! Cute separate kitchen with everything for short stay. Would return in nicer weather to get in some walks

Very happy with everything. Beautiful cottage, comfy, pretty area, loved the walk along the brook through the buttercup field to the pub. Good food, wine, garden and staff. Easy to drive to Bradford and Bath to explore. Loved it all.

We could not have wished for a more relaxing break. Lovely to see Gay and Jonathan again, as welcoming and friendly as ever - you could not wish for better hosts. The studio is a joy to spend time in and is very well thought out and cared for. When we did tear ourselves away from it (it's so peaceful and relaxing to spend time in!) we easily filled our time with a variety of things to do from the doorstep. Exploring BoA itself: the Tithe Barn area and the area called Tory, with its great views and lovely gardens. We also did walks to Iford Manor, Freshford, and Limpley Stoke (great pub with imaginative menu and lovely outdoor space!). Canal and river walks so pleasant and easy. We had some lovely food out but also found it perfect for picking up bits and pieces locally (including a good Sainsbury's, which we walked to along the canal) when we decided to cook for ourselves. We have booked to come back, can't wait for our lovely little 'mini' break!
