Hut vacation rentals in South West England

we had a superb getaway, ideal for timeout and a recharge. everything was as described and the mattress was so comfortable. is now on our favourites lists to return back to.

2nd visit and absolutely living up to my memories. Weather was a little more inclement this time round - blew a gale and some very picturesque horizontal rain... but it was still cozy and so amazingly photogenic location. Lemon drizzle cake was a very welcome tea time treat throughout our stay. But it's the absolute spotless presentation that makes you feel right at home. We did miss seeing the cat this time round, hope it's OK :)

Peaceful and quiet location with sheep and alpaca in the neighbouring fields. Sitting outside the shepherds hut we could see the sea in the distance - same view from the hot tub. Very comfortable and well equipped with everything that we needed for our short break.

Had a lovely stay at Jessica's! The hut was clean and had everything we needed, with additional personal touches. The hot tub was ready for use at any time and we enjoyed the beautiful views out across the fields. Thank you!

Had a lovely stay in this beautiful hut. Unfortunately we had cloudy skies so didn’t get to stargaze. Loved our animal neighbours and the visits from the ducks. The BBQ and facilities were great we enjoyed cooking and eating al fresco all weekend. Walked to Winyard Gap for a pub lunch. All in all a lovely relaxing weekend.

Perfect location, immaculately clean and peaceful. It was more beautiful than we expected and we especially loved cooking on the fire pit and use of the hot tub. Richard was on hand to answer any questions and I highly recommend walking Pen Y Fan and Dragons Back if you're into that sort of thing. The best first anniversary we could have thought of, we'd love to come back again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us x

We had such a wonderful time at Tracy’s shepherd’s hut. We felt so at home and certainly chilled throughout our stay. Our children loved stroking and feeding the goats. The shepherd’s hut had everything you could want or need, with the great addition of a hot tub and a fire to toasts marshmallows on. Tracy was so friendly and fantastic at responding to messages. She kindly arranged for a birthday banner and cupcakes to be prepared to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We loved our time and were very sad to come home!

Wow wow wow! Headland hideaway is stunning! Absolutely gorgeous, Mike was amazing!!! Messaged every day to check all is okay, send photos of the signpost where to turn and exactly where to park etc. his food recommendation were helpful and stop on! Tried lots and all were amazing! The pool was the biggest hit and we were so lucky when we stayed we had amazing weather! Everything was spotless and modern, loved the remote control curtains! A fabulous half term dreamy weekend! Thank you so much Mike! It was an absolute pleasure!

We had a lovely couple of days at Lou’s place, a beautifully decorated, well kept, and fully equipped hut. The location was perfect for us, nice and tranquil, just the relaxed location we needed. We would definitely return, and 100% recommend. Thank you Lou

came down for a night with my partner and we couldn’t find a single fault. It’s the little touches that really make the place what it is. Despite being a remote location, it was so easy to find and came with so many local recommendations. The beach is only 15 minutes away by cars and there are plenty of things to see/do in the area. Nat and Mark are so respectful of your space and privacy but will be super responsive if you need anything. Just gutted we couldn’t stay longer!

Our stay at this shepherd’s hut was absolutely perfect. Immaculately clean and filled with thoughtful touches like teas, coffees, and a complimentary bottle of Prosecco, it had everything we needed — blending rustic charm with modern comforts. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we slept so well in the peaceful, private setting. The highlight was the incredible wood-fired hot tub — we spent hours soaking while watching breathtaking sunsets and stargazing in total tranquility. The outdoor space was equally well-equipped, with a BBQ, plenty of firewood, kindling, and unbeatable views. The location was a true slice of paradise — secluded, serene, and only a short drive from Cardigan and Tenby, though we always looked forward to returning to the hut. Our host, Anthony, was wonderfully responsive, helpful, and kind before, during, and after our stay. This was one of our favourite getaways ever — we’ll definitely be back!

Lovely stay - such a peaceful location with amazing views. It was the perfect escape - just a shame we were only staying for one night! The hut is perfect, we cooked dinner on the hobs and there is a little fridge to keep the drinks cold. Everything you need for a relaxing and quiet break. Sadly the wind meant we didn’t get to use the fire pit but no doubt that would be a great addition next time. Would definitely recommend and will certainly be coming again when we next have the chance!

Lovely stay in the hut, very well maintained and had a private cosy feel. The views were beautiful and with the hot tub, very relaxing. Glen and Victoria were fast to respond to any queries we had. Definately recommend a stay here.

Our stay was everything we’d hoped for…. And more! The setting, accommodation and facilities were all fantastic. The hut itself is cosy and brilliantly equipped. We slept so well in the super comfy bed. We absolutely loved our mini break, thank you Nancy.

We had two very nice days in Linda's shepherd's hut. Everything is as described, very clean, cozy and perfect for relaxing. You can see the sunset very well and enjoy the quiet location. We would definitely recommend it.

Had an amazing few days as Diddylake, it was so charming and peaceful, would highly recommend for anyone hoping to have a peaceful getaway and disconnect from the outside world.

What a fantastic break away at Pattishams Escape. The place was clean and tidy and it was amazing how much stuff can fit into a very small (but wonderfully cosy) space, thanks to the efficiency of the design. We were met with a delightful cream tea to enjoy after our long drive, and with a Sainsbury’s a 5 min drive away, this was followed by a delicious BBQ on the fire pit! From coffee in the mornings looking out at the beautiful surroundings, to relaxing in the hot tub, to peaceful walks down by the nearby river - Pattishams Escape is ultimate relaxation. Also such a treat for the dog with what feels like endless private space to bound around in! It was so recharging and wonderful to forget about time and just enjoy existing - the perfect place to do this. Thanks and we would love to come back!

We had a really lovely time in the cabin with our two dogs for our mini-moon! The space had everything you could need and was fully equipped with high quality amenities and furnishings. A lot of attention to detail has clearly gone into it and there was plenty of room for the 4 of us. The surroundings were really pretty and there are plenty of lush farm shops and restaurants nearby. My favourite villages Broadway and Bourton on the water were only a short drive away so the location was perfect for us! I would also like to say a huge thanks to Tom and Kate for bringing me an inhaler when my hayfever was really bad - that was so appreciated. The addition of an iron would be really handy and another mirror in order to plug in electricals outside of the bathroom.

Really beautiful Airbnb with 3 separate huts for bedroom, kitchen and shower, and toilet. The fire pit and hot tub were particular highlights (the hot tube gets through a lot of wood so be sure to stock up at one of the local farm shops, we used Stokeleys). So romantic and a great off-the-grid kinda getaway! Highly recommend <3

It’s one of the nicest Shepard Hut’s we’ve stayed in.. beautifully laid out… felt we had plenty of room even with our Lab. Everything seemed brand new… especially loved the bathroom … immaculate!. Fired up the hot-tub.. which worked a treat!…. so relaxing on our last night. Would recommend a meal at the Kings Arms at Georgeham 👌🏻 and we had a tasty lunch at The Thatch in Croyde … all in all a great start to our holiday 😊

We had a beautiful stay here for a couple of days. Hettie greeted us at the car and showed us the way and Nick was very welcoming and friendly. We would absolutely stay here again

We had such a lovely time! The place is delightful and the area is really convenient (quiet and pretty but not far from town). We didn’t realise however that there were other Air BnBs in the same courtyard and there was cottages quite loud with music on quite late. Mr and my partner understood though that it can’t be helped sometimes! Had the best anniversary weekend however, Kate even supplied up a complimentary bottle of prosecco and a lovely little note! X
