Stanley Cottage is a little gem, near to the beach, easy access to supermarkets and in a friendly neighbourhood. The hot tub was a highlight, along with the outside room with its ensuite and TV.. a hit with my teenager. Thoughtful supplies on arrival. Thank you Ben.

What a place, I didn't get to use the hot tub, but Ben's place is a credit to him and his family. beautiful surroundings and reasonably priced and flexible on arrival time. If you are looking to book your visit to Crook this has to be on your list. Highly recommend!

Stayed here with friends for my 24th birthday and had the BEST time ever, arrived and there was loads of parking space, a massive front garden, keys were really easy to find and use. Walked in the house it was spotless, immaculate & so big so many rooms with cool decor , the games room was a favourite of ours (spent a lot of time there). The beds were all extremely comfy , had a brilliant sleep every night. There was enough towels for everyone and the massive bath was also a favourite of mine, everything in the property was great and ensured me and the rest of my friends had the best 3 nights ever. Also the hosts were very friendly and helpful and were always on hand and easy to contact there were any problems. Thankyou so much for the stay hopefully will be back 🤞

Tracy was super helpful as we’d never been to Northumberland area before she was helpful with local knowledge for us as a family and dog owners. The house was lovely and clean and the kids were extremely happy with their Crème eggs left on their pillows! Loved the doggy touches (bed, towel and bowls) thank you for allowing us to stay in your home x

thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Host very responsive to any issues we had. Easy to get the keys etc and in. Very well equipped kitchen, all rooms a good size for what we needed. Pleasantly surprised with the bathroom, the pictures really don't do it justice, it was lovely! TV was easy to use and sign into our apps. Fire also easy to use. We ate twice at the Travellers rest as it's a short walk away. lovely meal, portions are VERY generous. We were there to go to Diggerland and Beamish, both were a very short drive away and were both a great day out!!

Hellen was such a star and her kindness added to the home, welcomine feeling of the house. Ideally located 15 mn from Seaham, in a peaceful streets with two little shops nearby if you need anything… And the house is so well equipped, so comfy. A huge thanks, everything was absolutely perfect!

We stayed here on the first night of our North-East castle roadtrip. Very comfortable and clean home, easy to find, and location wise close to Auckland Palace, Raby Castle, and the Barnard Castle ruins. Seldom is where we stay one of the highlights of our trip, but this townhouse definitely was. It was absolutely amazing. It was warm and comfortable after coming in from our chilly all day excursions. The beds were comfortable, the house extremely clean and the amenities absolute perfection.

Carla's house is a gorgeous house of dreams... really gorgeous especially if you like period properties like the little geeks we are. We were a little unsure of how it would be staying the the cellar of someone's house especially as we have a very vocal 18 month old but it was really private and didn't feel strange at all. Carla went the extra mile by providing a fridge full of essential food (and a little bottle of Prosecco), had a selection of toys for our little boy and had loads of great local recommendations. Thank you for a lovely stay :)
