Kid-friendly vacation rentals in South Philadelphia

My friend and I really enjoyed this place! It was just what we needed, a free parking spot off the street, great amenities, and super clean! Our only complaint was two bugs we found (a cockroach and a lantern fly lol) and pulling in to the alley can be a bit of a squeeze. Oh, and we couldn’t figure out the cold water in the shower! I didn’t want to inconvenience the host with this question, but we truly tried everything and the water was soooo hot. Other than that, place was beautiful, private, and we will certainly be back!

Allison & Timothy are exceptional hosts. They gave precise instructions which are easy to follow. Their place is super clean and very nice. They responded to our messages usually within minutes if not immediately. The neighborhood is also very nice with friendly neighbors too. Highly recommended!

Leonard's place on Lombard is truly an urban gem. Tall ceilings, amazing light throughout the day, and enough space and appropriate furniture to truly relax. The location was ideal for our trip and purpose. Easily walkable streets to Independence Hall, to Spruce Street Park, to the restaurants of east Lombard and Little Italy and the bocce court of Bardascino Park. Superb coffee shops within a block will make your morning. Leonard was wonderful with the communication and was prompt if any response was needed. But we didn't have any issues with the place. Oh, and the garage space was priceless. We fit a vw taos in the garage without any space issue. There will be city noise at night. I was wary of this as I am a sleeper whose hearing and mind tend to always stay 'on' and focusing on any noise. But for the three nights of our stay, I fell asleep and slept well on the comfortable beds (bed and pull-out sofa). I believe you just quickly acclimate. This was a perfect city stay location!

Everything as expected. Young kept the place clean and neat. Everything is ready and works as soon as you move in. Responsive and friendly communication. Great location.

Emily’s place was absolutely wonderful! It was peaceful, clean, and incredibly comfortable—everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location couldn’t have been better: just a short distance from the museums, the baseball stadium, and a great selection of restaurants. Parking was easy and hassle-free, which made coming and going a breeze. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again. Highly recommended!

Beautifully curated space and good linens! I felt energized in the clean and artistic space. Not basic boring or overly cluttered w mismatched items. Despite the challenges of the layout w bathroom on second floor, it was a lovely place to stay and relax. Sandra was amazing with response time and ideas.

Very homey in a quiet neighborhood. Full kitchen made it very easy to cook. Comfortable rooms. Spacious and airy. Good WiFi. It was a perfect stay for myself, my kid and my dog. Decent street parking. It was perfect. Highly recommend.

I thought this place was incredible. Some reviews say there isn't much space but for a city home, I was amazed by the space. Entry was easy. Small living area next to kitchen with nice new Roku enabled tv (each bedroom has one as well). Nice welcome basket with snacks. AC worked great in all rooms on hot humid day. Basement would work well if some kids wanted to play board games. Good selection of dishes, glasses. Silverware, toaster. Didn't use over or dishwasher. Big fridge even had Brita jug. Beds were comfy. Shower worked fine. Roof deck has really nice view of some downtown buildings. Easy walk to Target, Giant and Sprouts. Subway just a few blocks away If we are ever in Philadelphia again, this is the spot!

The place was great to stay with my parents for 3 days. Easy to walk around Philly, very clean and well decorated. Street parking was challenging, but public parking behind target was very convenient and reasonably priced.

We loved this location. We walked to the Italian Market every day. It's so close. There is a bagel shop across the street as well. Apartment was exactly as pictured. We loved everything.

The apartment was clean and large. Host was communicative and nice. Good value. Street parking was available. Neighborhood is a bit crime-prone but that is not the host's fault.

I had an amazing time, Pictures look exactly like listing in person, very affordable and convenient, host was very responsive and helpful. The only issue I was having was when I was washing the dishes in the front room I noticed the water was not getting hot, water was only cold. Other than that everything else was good.

I enjoyed the deep bath and very comfortable bed and linens. It is a real haven in a busy city to come back to this quiet home with high ceilings and so much light.

Place was clean and easy to find. There are some steps so if you can, pack light! Loved the rooftop deck and decor of the place.

It was an absolute pleasure staying at Jessica’s Airbnb! The place had everything you could possibly need—from pots and silverware to shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The space was spotless, cozy, and very comfortable. Jessica checked in throughout the week to make sure we were doing well and didn’t need anything, which was greatly appreciated. Parking was super convenient—right next to the stairs. If you’re ever in Pennsylvania, I highly recommend staying here. Plus, it’s so close to the airport, making travel a breeze!

So the townhome was AWESOME! looks just like its described. We only had an issue with the door because being from the south we’re not used to keypads like that. So you’ll put the code in and then the knob lol! Glad the neighbor helped us out. Andrea was very helpful and fast with responses.

Super cute spot in a great neighborhood—extremely walkable to many restaurants, bars, shops, etc. For Philly it was a relatively good price and an all around good value. We would definitely stay again, especially as the location was near to our good friend!

Overall we had a great experience. We did have a little one and with it having stairs and promoting that it has baby equipment, I would've expected there to be some gate to also ensure safety for the little ones, but we were able to manage by just blocking it off with a chair. Location was good, not too far from major attractions, 8-15mins. Parking is on the street so sometimes it was full and we had to keep circling around until we found parking, but pretty typical in the city. Very comfortable beds and quiet neighborhood. Had everything we needed to be comfortable for our stay.

This is my second time staying in one of Jonathan's places. I'm already planning another stay for early next year. We just absolutely love the space, the area, and Jonathan! The place is exactly as listed, clean, comfortable, and in close proximity to everything + easy and free parking!!!! Highly recommend staying here!

For being my first Airbnb stay I was very satisfied with this place! Looks just like the photos and much beautiful feel in person. It felt like I was coming and going as if I was at my own apartment building that’s how great the host instructions was very simple self explanatory. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Danni's place is five stars all around! It is spacious, family-friendly, and immaculately clean with everything that you would need for a relaxing stay to feel like you are right at home. Great linens, comfortable beds, and a well-stocked kitchen if you decide to cook a few meals during the stay (thank you for the snacks!). Danni's home is super walkable--within a few blocks from great restaurants and shops, as well as some of the top sights in the city, yet still quiet and peaceful. The rooftop view is stunning! Danni is one of the best hosts I've encountered. She responded to all questions instantly, provided flexible check-in/check-out arrangements, and made my out-of-town guests feel at ease. She was extremely accommodating and did a great job anticipating the needs of her guests. No need to look further--book Danni's place before someone else does!

Very clean apartment with plenty of space. Kitchen, living room, beds and bath are all really nice. Our host Bin is friendly and responsive. Groceries store and coffee shops are <5 minute walk. A very short commute to city center by buses/subway with lots of things to do. We really enjoyed our stay here.
