Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in South London

It was great staying at Shirley's. The place is very clean, quiet, and located in a great neighbourhood. The bed is comfortable, and we had some enjoyable chats. I highly recommend Shirley's room.

Absolutely gorgeus place! One of my best (maybe the best) Airbnb-experience ever! The house is sooooo beautiful, it was an unforgettable experience to see this beautiful house and be able to accomodate and sleep there (in a very comfortable bed!). Lissy and Richard were so friendly and helpful — picking us up from the Station (AirPort) and giving as a lift back there next morning. A breakfast pack was a nice surprise! Hope to be back some day. Ps. Great bistro/restaurant nearby!

Great place! Clean home and Anamaria was very hospitable. The neighborhood is really nice and diverse. The Herne Hill transit station is a short walk away, taking you straight to Victoria where you can then transfer to other lines. Bus stops are in super close distance too. Loved the retail stores and restaurants in the area.

John & Mandy were great host. They kept our rooms ready with fresh towels and napkins. The space is filled with personal pictures and has a great character of its own. John was kind to make us proper English breakfast and made us feel really comfortable and special throughout our stay.

James was a wonderful and friendly host. Breakfast was a real bonus and included home made jam and honey! The mezzanine was great fun for the kids (and me). This little square of London is a hidden gem and with easy parking and transport around. Definitely recommend!

This visit was a return stay at Harriet’s place. Harriet is a warm and hospitable host who gave me some great suggestions about cafes, theatre and art exhibitions. Her home is in a convenient part of London. The train and buses close by. The room is cosy, with loads of sunshine, a lovely outlook to the garden and importantly - a comfortable bed. I recommend Harriet’s place and I look forward to another visit.

a really lovely place to stay with an especially friendly and interesting host- Sonja. Everything looked lovely and loved having own bathroom. Offered me tea and chat and recommended good pub for dinner. Comfy bed. alVery good breakfast with fresh fruit salad and warm croissant. Very good shower. No complaints at all and wd come back. Super stay in comfortable spacious room. Leroy is a joy to chat with, he gave us lots of helpful suggestions: places to eat, visit and suggestions to get around. Definitely recommend!

Kirstine is a responsive and friendly host. Lots of personal touches and a welcoming home. Great place to stay.

Had a lovely stay at Colin's. The room is peaceful and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast is a real plus, and allowed me to practice my English with Colin! Finally, there are all kinds of small shops near the accommodation, which is very convenient. Recommended!

Perfect location especially for first time visitors wanting to see the main tourist sites. Also. very easy access to many public transit options. Host was extremely helpful and kind.

Great place to stay with quick access to the tube/trains. Close to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Jane is super friendly and a great host.

Juanita and Katherine were absolutely lovely. Couldn't have been kinder or more helpful, and we loved the dogs, too. Excellent restaurants in the neighborhood including a classic British Fish and Chips shop established in the 1800s, just a walk away. It's handy to the Picadilly Tube line, so Heathrow and Central London are equally accessible.

Sally and Chris are the perfect hosts! They were very welcoming and also had very nice recommendations for us. When we said goodbye they had also a lovely chocolate for us :) We enjoyed our stay in the lovely room under the roof. We had everything we need (towels, hairdryer, EU adapter, hair straightener) and enjoyed the view into the wonderful garden. The location was very good to travel with the public transport opportunities (tube, bus) to all important spots in London. Kings Cross & St. Pancras International Station is also just six stops with Piccadilly Line away. We highly recommend this sweet accomodation for everyone who wants to visit London.

Zane is exceptionally pleasant lady and I felt very comfortable during my stay at her house. Recommend :)

Really loved it, very clean and modern property. Loved the garden furniture and garden. Nice to sit out and enjoy the sunshine in peace and quiet. Everything you need for your stay plus extras eg disposable flip flops/slippers and towels provided - didn’t expect this, very happy. Loved the breakfast and treats provided, thank you. Tamila always communicated well and promptly-checked to see I had checked in ok. I would stay here again.

Ana is lovely. She is chatty, friendly, easy-going, helpful and so accommodating. Ana has done an incredible job in decorating her house. The bedroom was spotless, clean, modern, comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was also spotless. The house is not far from Kensal Road Station and all local amenities.

This is the second time I have stayed with Kristina. A great place, peaceful, clean and Kristina is a lovely welcoming host.

Brilliant place to stay, really easy to find with added bonus of off road parking. Sue and Angela were great hosts and very welcoming. Excellent communication and after arriving earlier than planned Sue made herself available straight away to help sort us out which was really appreciated. Superb facilities with large bedroom and bathroom - all spotlessly clean. Breakfast was perfect for setting us up for the day. Spent two days in central London and found it very easy to walk to either Balham or Tooting Bec tube giving us speedy access to a variety of locations. Highly recommend staying here, Sue and Angela were very supportive not only with their local knowledge but also ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We very much hope to go back if available on our next trip to London.

A lovely, characterful home and an ideal base from which to explore Hartfield and Winnie-the-Pooh country. The bedroom was large and clean, with a huge and very comfortable bed. Val was a friendly and welcoming host. We would thoroughly recommend this place and we would be very happy to stay there again.

Wonderful stay at Hazel's. Her house is charming and carefully decorated, the neighborhood is very pleasant, quiet, good places around and convenient to reach the center of London. Hazel welcomed us warmly and with great simplicity, giving us very useful directions in the neighborhood or in London. A big thank you to her and her family!

As we drove through the double wooden gates, we were in awe by the grandeur of this delightful thatched home with its welcoming Xmas decorations outside and carefully selected decor in every nook. A delicious spread of food awaited us each morning, and we were privy to Chris’s famous orange marmalade. What surprised me was the attention to detail including olives/feta knowing my heritage. A true festive treat was having Xmas crackers on our last morning. Michele’s attention to detail was impeccable. She is such a gem. 💎 However all that aside, what will make our stay forever memorable was our lovely hosts Michele and Chris. We truly loved our conversations each morning. They both created such a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. We came in as guests but we have left as friends. We truly hope we come back again. If Airbnb gave awards to the best hosts, Michele and Chris would win hands down. 🏆
