Place has a beautiful scenery & outdoor lake patio. Nurtured spot in the woods worth visiting any season of the year. Jacques was pleasant to speak too and generous. would surely visit once again.

We recently stayed at a delightful lake house in Plattsburgh to celebrate our son’s graduation from CUNY Plattsburgh. Our time there was truly special, as the tranquil atmosphere and beautiful lake views provided the perfect backdrop for our family gathering. The Boathouse was well-equipped with all the essentials we needed for a comfortable weekend stay. We appreciated the thoughtful amenities that made our time relaxing and enjoyable. The peacefulness of the lake allowed us to disconnect from our busy lives and fully immerse ourselves in this joyous occasion. Overall, our stay was a wonderful blend of celebration and serenity. We are looking forward to returning to this lovely retreat in the future!

We had a wonderful time staying at this cottage! The place is even more beautiful than the photos — clean, well-equipped, warm and perfect for a family weekend. The chalet is spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful view and a peaceful atmosphere. Our host was very welcoming, caring and quick to respond to any questions we had. Our three-night stay exceeded all of our expectations. For nature lovers such as ourselves, the tranquil, beautiful setting was ideal. We saw various birds right from the cottage, and numerous others in the nearby reserve. The sunsets and morning light inspired us to paint, draw and photograph, to capture a record of this beautiful place. William is a splendid host. He provided us with historical information about the area and his family’s role in settling and living in it. He is a generous and compassionate man, and inspirational in his devotion to the land and its history. A million thanks, William!

Gorgeous old home on a beautiful property, was the perfect place and location to host our large family Thanksgiving. The house was well stocked with charming dishes and serving pieces. They left plenty of wood for the wood-stove which made the large space feel so cozy, and plenty of wood and chairs surrounding the fire pit outside. They also provided plenty of drinking water and decorated with pumpkins and mums. Bed linens and towels a fresh crisp white felt nice to curl into. If I had a choice I’d opt for some queen size beds and use of the extra bedrooms! Though realize it’s not set up for multiple families but for individuals on a retreat. It still suited us just fine and the kids loved the giant room with the bunk beds. Thank you Carolyn for another perfect weekend!

This was an excellent place to stay on Lake Champlain. The house was kid friendly, which was perfect for our three young kids. They felt right at home. It was an easy walk to the peaceful, quiet beach. We hope to come back again next summer!!

Dan and Tiff’s home in Montebello was absolutely wonderful! The space was warm, cozy, and spotless — you can tell they put a lot of care into every detail. We felt right at home the moment we walked in. Everything was beautifully maintained, and the peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect stay. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a clean, inviting, and relaxing get away!

My partner and I were looking for a little getaway spot to relax and Gordon and Louis’ place was above and beyond what we were looking for. The large fully fenced backyard is even more beautiful than in the pictures and my dog thoroughly enjoyed it. The airbnb itself was like a hotel - it had everything we needed and more. We initially planned to explore Montreal during this trip but we ended up spending more time in Point Claire and it was really lovely! Louis and Gordon are top tier hosts and I would highly recommend this airbnb.

This was the perfect snowy getaway we were looking for! The space was even larger then expected, clean, comfortable and very cozy. The views right on the lake were idyllic and we would definitely return here in the summer to take advantage of the water more! The hosts were welcoming and responsive while the space still felt private. Overall this was a peaceful weekend and we would recommend this spot for others to enjoy as well.

I had a wonderful stay at Beth’s place! The space was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. It felt like a true home away from home. Beth was a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and thoughtful with all the little touches that made the stay even more enjoyable. The location was peaceful and conveniently located. This was such a lovely place to stay in. It was comfortable, clean, had great amenities, parking was convenient. Mohammad was also such a great host! We checked in late, and Mohammad still welcomed us, and gave us a tour. He was very responsive through the Airbnb app too. I strongly recommend staying in this place, and if I have the chance, I would definitely stay here again!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this sweet rustic cabin to catch up with an old friend, and it was an experience to remember. Nestled near the maskinongé river, the cabin offered the perfect blend of tranquility and charm with its warmly lit outdoor seating area and hot tub, which was undoubtedly a highlight of our stay. Soaking in the warm water while gazing at the stars made for a nice appreciation of the present moment. The cabin itself was cozy and well-equipped, featuring a teleprompter. Going through old DVDs and using the screen was a blast. The many vintage architecture magazines scattered around the cabin also made for interesting reads, and really added to the warm feel of the place. Overall, this cabin is a gem for anyone looking to unwind and disconnect to enjoy nature's beauty. Highly recommended!

This place was a real gem. Beautiful on the outside and the inside. Super convenient to Clarkson and Potsdam Universities, and would be a short ride to St. Lawrence as well. Just outside of town in Potsdam. Bed was super comfortable, appliances worked well, and shower and bathroom were great as well. It was a little chilly so we were disappointed to not be able to use the balcony porch. Perfect for a couple and great for a family of 3. Would have loved to stay at this place even longer!

This was a wonderful place to stay. It was private and right on the river. There were trails through the woods and our dog enjoyed them. We saw various wildlife. It was close to family that we were visiting and just a few miles outside of town, very convenient location. I do not fly fish but the cabin had everything that would be needed to make your own lures. We checked in on Saturday and after a day or two, Timothy checked in with us through the app to make sure everything was going well and was satisfactory. I would definitely stay here again.

The cabin was just as described, kind of made us want to be there in the winter it was so cozy. Vaulted ceilings and windows allowed us to appreciate the surrounding beauty of the Adirondacks. It was the perfect distance from Plattsburgh to enjoy our daughter’s graduation.

I felt very safe knowing it was a gated RV park community. I loved the cabin as it was neat & clean. The owners and cleaning lady were friendly and pleasant to talk to. I hope to come back soon.
